Jeremy
Jeremy (Jarett Cale)

The lead character and camera anchor for the documentary. Jeremy is 26 years old and has spent nearly the entirety of his childhood and subsequent adulthood in his parent's basement playing video games and surfing the Internet. He is always seen wearing the same clothes – his trademark black paisley bandana and a T-shirt silk screened with his mantra: "i pwn n00bs." While the regular world views him as a slacker, he's in fact very focused and he works hard at what he does - beating people at video games. It's simply that no one appreciates his talent.

If he were asked about his religion he'd reply "I'm a Buddhist." Even though he knows very little about actual Buddhism, he remembers hearing once that they "don't care about money and stuff," only the pursuit of a simple and happy life. Jeremy has no desire for wealth or virtually anything other than the ability to play the video games he wants to play, when he wants to play them, and he'll do only what's absolutely necessary to stay alive and keep his pwnage flowing.

Jeremy

Kyle
Kyle

Kyle is Jeremy's brother and an aspiring film director - the documentary on Jeremy's life originally began as a project for his film school studies, and continues to be the focus of his first television show. He is the straight-man in the series, always providing an anchor to reality for the other core characters.

Kyle
Kyle (Geoff Lapaire)

Kyle is Jeremy's brother and an aspiring film director - the documentary on Jeremy's life originally began as a project for his film school studies, and continues to be the focus of his first television show. He is the straight-man in the series, always providing an anchor to reality for the other core characters. Being the polar opposite of Jeremy in personality, he is convinced one of the pair was adopted. Having been reasonably successful with girls in the past, Kyle can't understand why he finds himself so tongue tied around October, his secret crush.

Kyle's camera work will often mimic that of famous directors, past and present. The influences of some of Kyle's favorite movies are felt throughout the series. While Kyle is ever-present due to the gonzo (ie. first-person) documentary style of Pure Pwnage, he is never clearly shown on camera. On rare occasions the audience may catch a small glimpse of Kyle in a reflection.

FPS Doug

Doug is Jeremy's long-time best friend and an obsessive FPS player (First-Person Shooter games). He has a fascination with guns and using them to shoot people in the head... in virtual worlds of course.

FPS Doug
FPS Doug (Joel Gardiner)

Doug is Jeremy's long-time best friend and an obsessive FPS player (First-Person Shooter games). He has a fascination with guns and using them to shoot people in the head... in virtual worlds of course. He'll often confuse the gaming world with the real world, leading to hilarious and sometimes awkward (but never violent) moments. His ADHD is often acting up and he rarely sticks to a single idea or conversation longer than a few seconds. Most of what he says is very curt, simple, and to the point. His war cry "BOOM, HEADSHOT!" has become a hyper-popular Internet catch-phrase.

Doug comes from an unstable household and will occasionally make off-the-cuff (and seemingly care-free) remarks about the parental chaos found at home. His Dad owns a gun shop and his mom stays at home and drinks. Doug isn't allowed to work at the gun shop because he tends to treat real guns as toys, so, like Jeremy, he lives in his parent's basement, but tries to spend as much of his time as possible gaming either at the LAN cafe or a friend's house.

JOEL GARDINER Ever since he first touched a piano as a young child, Joel Gardiner has made artistic expression his top priority. As a musician he has been involved with several bands, throughout the years, as both a drummer and singer.
In 2002 Joel became one of the founding members of the skit comedy troop "Pi Divided by 4" based out of Calgary, Alberta. Along with acting, writing, and editing he also composed electronic music which contributed to a number of Pi/4's skits.
In 2006 he made his first appearance in the Internet smash hit Pure Pwnage. His energy and onscreen presence is unquestionably hilarious and has propelled him to becoming a household name in the gaming community. He also possesses an extensive background in acrobatics which have allowed him to perform the numerous stunts on the show which he is known for.
In March of 2010 he will be releasing book #1 in a series of graphic novels he wrote entitled "Lore", along with writing and starring in the production of the short film Death of Gary Goldwater to be released in the Spring of 2010.

October
October

October is a beautiful girl and a relatively new hire at the LAN cafe where Jeremy, along with Doug and Tyrel, usually hang out. October's alternative attire and care-free attitude are clearly that of the artistic soul.

October
October (Melanie Scrofano)

October is a beautiful girl and a relatively new hire at the LAN cafe where Jeremy, along with Doug and Tyrel, usually hang out. October's alternative attire and care-free attitude are clearly that of the artistic soul. Her hair changes with each lunar cycle and her inclination to play video games instead of shopping at the mall make her the girl of most gamers' dreams.

October is totally into Jeremy - she is attracted to his pure intentions and seemingly unshakable confidence. Unlike most others, she has a tremendous amount of respect for the way Jeremy chooses to live - he pursues what he loves with the utmost devotion! Unfortunately for her, Jeremy is completely oblivious to her regular advances.
