Yeah thats not a good idea, because after you disconnect it leaves a log. So someone investigating would see a blank log file except one log where some dude disconnected

Fuck have to reinstall now, Uplink was so good. It's pretty surreal to think that this game, which is pretty much compose entirely of menus and progress bars is more tense than half the game I've played
Trying to transfer some funds while the trace timer is ticking down and you're deleting logs with seconds left is sphincter-tightening

What's not to like? hacking, intrigue, drugs, sex, homicidal AIs, and lets not forget those Space Rastas.
Maybe you should learn how to stop being a hyped-up ADD kid and read harder.

What JR said. I like to think of Neuromancer as providing a pretty impressive insight into the world wide web years before it actually came to be. Obviously what we have today is not what the book literally portrays; the 'consensual hallucination' does not actually involve connecting our minds and bodies directly to the internet. I feel that the core ideas of 'cyberspace' in Neuromancer, though, are very much like the world wide web we have today. But it's a science fiction book, so obviously things are going to be dramatized and taken to extremes. It's fucking fun, and it delivers it with just the right attitude and tone to really make this the definition of cyberpunk. When people call it 'the' cyberpunk book, it isn't bullshit.
You do have to pay attention with the book, or else whose who and more importantly whose trying to fuck who over, can easily be muddled up. Honestly, you're not that far into the book so not a lot has actually happened.
Also Molly. That chick is fucking hard as nails.

Saw this and was thinking of Dystopia but couldn't remember the name. Glad you mentioned it Shunted.
Also, Brave new world. For novels I guess.

I totally forgot about dystopia, I've been playing at agian for the past few days and its awesome, once you learn all the weapons, implants, and objectives, and how to do cyberspace. Also the soundtrack is sweet, glitch DnB

I would just go around with my laptop and break into wireless networks with aircrack, and act like I'm a badass
