Here comes the 3D games. Not only do I want a PS3, but now possibly a 3DTV too <.<. 3D TV's are currently thousands of dollars though I think.. So I'll have to play these games in regular boring High Definition.

Kevin Misher, producer of The Scorpion King, The Interpreter and the upcoming Dune film, is negotiating to produce. I have to say, that box art is a massive disappointment. I know it's not that big a deal, but the two individual games had such amazing presentation, including their box art, I was hoping for some decent, special edition-style packaging there.. Oh well.

They're probably the only games I'd buy a PS3 for, if I didn't already have them on the PS2...

Yea, they are specifically why I'm going to get a PS3. Not even MGS4 did it for me back in the day. As for the box art.. Maybe it'll change. That collection is supposed to be out Q1 2011.

I really don't see why they would bust their butts for two games that already have good box art. You people are nit-picking.

Also, fuck 3D, that shit needs to go back to the 80's.

Totally excited for SotC in HD though, and I have yet to play Ico so this will be my chance. I really don't think they should make a movie though, there is no way it would ever even compare to the game.

I dunno man. I would love to see a direct port of Ico or Shadow of The Colossus to film; with great visuals, great atmosphere and no dialogue. It could be quite an unusual film.

I'm sure they'll try and hollywood it up somehow though..

Have you ever SEEN the chun li movie?
If the a SotC movie comes out..the main character is going to have fighting sequences with other people. Him and a band of friends are going to go out and fight enemy hench men from a collosus lord, packed with martial arts and sword fights. Then at the end, he will fight a monster twice the size of himself.
It'll be another terrible video game movie. If they stay true to the game, they will only have 1 actor, lol.

ROFL. Easy there guys. Byakugan said that there's no way the film would ever compare to the game, I simply stated one hypothetical way in which it could.

I didn't say that I expected the actual film to be the way I described, hence my closing remarks.

Just because I have a clear idea of what I would like to see, doesn't mean I'm naive enough to think it will actually happen.

Any of you that haven't SotC should really borrow/buy/rent it. I GUARANTEE YOU WILL ENJOY IT. Then I want to hear what you have to say after you play it. Beating the game really doesn't require a huge time investment.

I watched my roommate/a school friend both play it for 8 hours one night and beat it. I played for 5 minutes and sucked so I just watched them beat it.

Yea I had the release date wrong, got it today for 32 bucks!
EB I went to was moving/closing down, so as a sorry they had coupons for 20% off anything.

Went to the next closest EB and used my coupon,, got the game for 31.99!

Maybe I'll give Ico another try this time around..
