If my full on intention was to troll, I would have posted some actual misinformation about WoW in order to grief you. Now tell me, did that look like my intentions? Did my post offend you? If it did, you probably deserved it. Why? Because you are probably too much of a bad player to go out with your guild and down the damn LK or Mimiron's head in the first place. Will Blizzard lower the mounts drop rate? Maybe maybe not. Why?
Remember the Zul'Aman warbear? before Patch 3.0 People scrambled to get it because it was a really hard mount to get. Only the actual good players got them. More or less of a symbol of recognition for being an excellent player at the game, rather than being a player that was force fed welfare epics. It makes those players special, unique. You look at a guy in Dalaran/Shattrah with an Ironbound Protodrake and you know that guy is a bad ass in raids. In Wrath of the Lich king Gear is no longer a representation of that. Emblems, welfare epics from heroics, and easy content and everyone is swimming in gear they don't deserve.
Invincible's reigns and mirmirons head are exactly that. Symbols of recognition. A proper reward for players who went above and beyond to achieve a common goal. They were rewarded aptly. How special would it look if everyone around dalaran started riding the damned things? People would be recognized less for it and it would lose its actual value. Kind of like another mount I can think of. Pretty much Week 1 everyone was riding it around everywhere, but it became an eyesore and so people stopped and left it in their bags. Same thing I would imagine happening.
Removing Invincibles reigns Mirmirons head, Rustic and ironbound protodrake is something any sensible raider would like to see have done.

As a moderator of the official Pure Pwnage forums you should be aware that your actions and your posts have an effect on a lot of people, and throwing that power around loosely is a great way to get people to not like you. Remember, what you contribute helps shape this community.

It's not a symbol or status anymore, it was when it came out but it isn't anymore. The only reason why the Amani bear was a symbol was because people couldn't pug T6 or sunwell. They could barely pug SSC/TK but when you get everyone in endgame gear the Armani war bear means nothing.
Something you obviously don't realise is that is the main reason why people didn't have the warbear, not enough gear/experience, but now that everyone has the gear it's simple to get the groups for those mounts especially when people pug achievement raids of Ulduar..

This pug's are rarely successful though. The amount of coordination required in the lich king fight is still a bit above most pugs. The only successful ones I hear of are mostly made up of king slayers anyway. Never heard of a 25 man pug kill either.
