I thought the movie was okay. I decided to watch it after playing the game.. I think some of the "gamer" things where awkwardly forced in, such as the pee bar in that one scene.

Scott goes and takes a piss, a Pee Bar pops up and drains itself with 8 bit sound. Not sure if that was really necessary.

The Seinfield bass and high fiveing vegan police where excellent though.

ANYONE ELSE SEE THIS MOVIE?!

Love how the resident tough guy is happy to talk trash on an internet forum but back pedals as soon as he is called out. Typical coward. No doubt he'll respond to this with excessive bravado in order to restore his rightful place as a fully fledged internet badass.

I like to make werewolf...

i would like to say its my new favourite movie and shits all over the wankfest that was the expendables (sorry it isn't 1988 anymore, actually.. it doesn't even have the class of most of the films made back then)..

but i would be shunned for all eternity.. oh wait i am anyway.

anyways as far as the adaptation from comic to film goes, to quote someone else "it loses alot in translation, but also gain alot aswell"

also, inb4 "fag hipster crap movie"

I haven't read the comic yet. I know it came before anything.. but my order thus far has been Game->Movie

This move surprised me by being good. I didn't mind the video game references and I kinda guessed it was from the comic. Overall I liked the move a whole lot and will probably see it again.

Seen it twice. Loved it both times.

What did it for me was the little moments, though; the director (who also did "Shaun of the Dead" and the British sitcom, "Spaced") was the right fit for the adaptation.

It was admittedly a little weird seeing Michael Cera kick that much ass, though.

apparently the film had started shooting before micheal cera got really annoying. like before day one or whatever.

i was skeptical about him being in it, but it works..

Well I doubt it started shooting before Arrested Development.

Tbh, I hated the movie.
I really did.
It was *too* awkward.
I love Michael Cera (Yes, kill me for being a girl in 3...2...1...) but wtf.
I usually enjoy movies that are based on comics, but I just... Hated this one. It was too rubbish.
Sorry.

The comic must've been made with him in mind, lol. The only things I've liked him in is Scott Pilgrim and Arrested Development.

The only time I've ever liked Michael Cera was in Superbad when the girl calls him and he just starts swearing profusely because of the signal.

And when he's in woodshop and goes "I'm just drilling holes.. it's the last two weeks, fuck it"

I may be in the minority but I think it's the best film ever made. It's also the only Micheal Cera film I've ever seen. I just think it was perfect in so many ways...
