I feel like most Japanese developers resort to using the same dozen or so characters that could be inserted into any generic JRPG. And why the hell does that guy have grey/white hair? It's a pirate game, that man needs to be 20 years older and grow a beard for fuck's sake. Plus the women should have mutton chops, that'd really top it off.
