After only scoring 7 goals in 62 England games, Emile Heskey (aged 32) has retired from international football.
Also... Thierry Henry has retired from international football to devote his time with the New York Red Bulls.
Great news for any New York sports fans or Anti-Heskeys.

Been a strong Heskey hater since...I don't even know. I stopped giving a shit about football years ago but my hate for that ape lives on.

Gutted, back in his prime Heskey was a beast of a player. Fast track Carlton Cole into the team as his like-for-like replacement. Great player.

Mhm, Heskey was a decent target man but modern football requires players to be flexible and Heskey just wasn't.
