Holy fucking hot dicks from hell.

Like any high profile release these days, EA's Medal of Honor reboot is going to have a big demo multiplayer beta. Want to know how to get in on the action?

If you're a Battlefield Bad Company 2 VIP, and preorder Medal of Honor, you'll be able to enter the beta on June 17. Which is this Thursday.

If you're a Regular Joe, you can simply sign up along with everyone else and start playing on June 21. There'll be two maps available, and the beta will run on the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.

If you need any further motivation, remember, Battlefield specialists DICE are the ones responsible for Medal of Honor's multiplayer.

Edit: Just watched the new gameplay trailer. I must say, I'm far from impressed. Looks like CoD apart from it being more BC2 orientated. Uhm yeah, LOL.

Has kill streaks(can be used offensively or defensive to give teammates a buff) so I'm no longer interested unless there are mods or we can turn stuff off.
Also the damn points announcement on screen is ugly and huge. Get rid of it.
I really hope Dice doesn't fuck this up and at least gives us control over all the server options.
I'm tired of CS:S, Tired of BC2(was fun but no one plays it like bf2) Tf2 is amazing, but that's a diff play style. Cod4 Promod is fun its the way Cod4 should have been. MW2 failed with no servers or mods. MOH could really have a new niche if they were smart and gave us mods and server options. All the Promod guys are tired of it, I know I am too. Give us something to work with Dice. Give us a "pro" mode or mods or server switches. PLEASE.

I'm not sure If I wanna pre order (for beta) now since EA store and Steam don't let you return if you didn't like the beta. Hopefully Gamestop is a 5 dollar down payment and I can get a key and cancel it later since I wont be in the area when it launches.

Depends, CoD:UO introduced the concept of killstreaks but they were far from OP and worked very well.

It's supposed to be a different style of play anyway, hence no prone etc.

Pretty sure there will be a hardcore mode. I was hoping for a small team based tactical FPS, instead I'm getting a MW2 ripoff.

Well, none of my friends I should say. They all went back to promod.
I've also notice that after the patch that changed tracers the helicopters are useless, and are used as a fast way to the battle then they crash them into the buildings on purpose.
The game changed, and even less people work as a team. Unless you play squad rush or DM.

On the note of KS, these don't look too OP. I'll give the beta a shot.
No prone and no lean are making me a bit upset. At least there are server options to turn certain settings on and off. Weapons, KS, etc

Also Spectator mode. There may be some hope for comp play after all.

Well, It looks exactly like BC2 really, I mean, all that Dice has done, has got the exact same stuff from BC2, and just put it with the MOH name, ill give the beta a go, but I probs won't buy it.

Doens't look lime MW2 at all fro mthe gameplay I've seen. Looks like BC2 a LOT though. Hopefully it'll be good. Incorporating the same elements as other game and the same backdrop doesn't mean it'll be the same. One can hope.

looks nothing like MW2. maybe just the knife, since i dont remember a MoH game which gave you a knife... but it reminds me of BF2 yea. which is a good thing if the servers have decent rego. speaking of which- if this thing actually HAS dedicated servers, its automatically better than MW2.

No Strafe like BC2, No lean, No prone, no recoil. All the guns have perfect laser fire. RPG spam is as bad as bc2 gustav spam. No mods. This is a no for me I think. Order canceled. The fact that BC2 has been getting less and less balanced as they patch it (because they are balancing for consoles) I don't have any trust in dice anymore.

Okay, I've played the game and I enjoyed it. But there's a problem (ignoring the nitpick, I say I'll comment for everyone here), it looks like I've been on this game already. Not MW2 (because I didn't play that crap), but CoD4. Guns nearly have no recoil.

I thought I was gonna get pwned the first time I ran it considering that I have a crappy ping, but even with that crappy ping, I get like 25-4 score in average.

I thought a much when I saw someone playing it on youtube, but I just assumed (hoped) that they were just controlling it really well.

I'm still downloading it and I'll give it a good go, but I can't see it (like most recent FPSs) supporting anything more than casual play.
