I'd say the movie looks like part of MK series to me..
Couple of actors in there that have seen some fine paycheques in the past too.

The one thing I don't get is how they're going to fit in the more magical characters. It looks like they are trying to explain everything with science, so will Raiden just be a normal dude that has a device that shoots electricity? That would kind of go completely against his character.

Theyre not using legit science. Reptiles condition was made up so maybe for Raiden he will have a condition that lets his body store electricity or something. I can see why alot of people are getting angry with the unfaithfulness the movie seems to showing. Luckily for me I have no knowledge about MK so I can watch this with a very open mind

well yea, but a lot of the best people are very magical in nature and all very different for the most part, which would make worse pseudo-science than unobtainium.

lol, its pretty ridiculous.. its nearly as bad sonic fanboys and sonic 4, but at least thats a real game though. this is just a pitch to WB.

imo it looks awesome, plus whos to say there won't be more "magical" stuff included if a film was made.

also reptiles condition, harlequin ichthyosis, isn't made up.. theres even someone whos survived living with it

Fair enough, I read it was made up and didn't research that. Your right though about how they can still add powers and make it more faithful. Aslong as the end product is good I'll be happy

yeh i just HAD to look it up when i saw the clip.. pretty morbid right?. tbh id feel kinda bad for the person whos survived having it if they watch this, being the only one and all.. like thats how'd they turn out

A monk would be somewhat acceptable, but being a scientist kind of goes against his persona. It would also put him in less of a leadership role that he takes in most of the games and back story.

I like the reimagining of the story, but I just wonder how they're going to fit in all the magical characters and still have them be at all believable. Either they're going to have to bury themselves in stupid pseudo science of they're going to have to ignore a bunch of the cooler characters in the franchise.

I hate when they explain stuff with psuedo science. I hope they just say 'this guy can shoot lightning, this guy can shoot ice, we don't understand how any of it works'.
