Sooo, ladder lock and Season 3 incoming. Who's excited?

I'm thinking that I'm nearing promotion into platinum on my SEA account and might end up getting it right at the start of Season 3. My NA account hasn't been played on much and so its in Silver but on Sunday I went on a 13 game wining streak and have still only lost 2 games since then on there and hit a plat on it so I think that might alteast get gold and soon thereafter plat.

Hmm, your SC2 username rings a bell for me. What league are you in? I might have played against you on the ladder.

Also that really sucks dude. I've also had really bad days when you just get cheesed non-stop and you feel like quitting the game for good haha, but just keep with it, the cheese can only go on for so long and its more experience all the time. Feels great when you hold off a cheese.

I am really hoping to be promoted into platinum for season 3. Or better of course.

Been really enjoying 3v3 and 4v4 lately. I definitely feel much more relaxed and free to experiment. Plus it has been a great excuse for 2 or 3 of my friends to bring their computers over.

Yeah dude, I'm in the same boat there, I'm hoping to get Plat. I have been matched against a few lately and I have been winning a lot of the games. My NA account is still in Silver because I rarely play on it, but since the lock I've played quite a lot on it and beat a few plats on there too so I am pretty sure that one will come up to gold and possibly even to plat shortly thereafter.

Mine looks like this:

1v1 - Gold
2v2 - Bronze
3v3 - Diamond
4v4 - Diamond

I can't be bothered to grind through 2v2s to get out of bronze, so the last time I played on there I was still bronze in 1v1.

I didn't watch any. I was too busy having a reunion with some clan friends. And I also watched GSL finals instead.

After a 2 week break I can't believe I lost so much...feel like I'm back down to Silver level on SEA, although I did get my NA account up to Gold finally and beat some Plats yesterday...still don't feel like I am playing that well.

I've been playing a lot of customs and team games now lol, after realizing 1v1s are more stress than fun (for me), and it's not like I'm gonna be a pro gamer.

I find it quite stressful too, but it has the opposite effect on me in that it drives me on. Nothing beats that feeling of winning a really hard game that had you on your toes non-stop for 30 minutes. When you are starting to think...I can't keep this up for much longer. And then you manage to snipe an expo or something and your opponent taps out in exhaustion. And so I seek that over and over and over.

I'm being pared up against platinum players semi regularly but i still haven't been promoted out of silver. I realize my mmr needs to stabilize and blah blah blah,

Last time I played was about a month ago, only did the placement and got silver. 1v1's are so stressful and I hate losing to cheese.

I can only ladder until I lose. After even a single loss, I get so fucking mad that my hands just shake and I can't play anymore without being completely terrible. I can custom for like ever though.
