I love putting down people who talk shit. I remember once, I played a public L4D2 versus match, and these guys talked a whole lot of shit because they managed to take us down with some cheese strategies. Then, in a later map, we had a bot on our team and they kept attacking him because he repeatedly fell way behind the rest of the team. I said, "Nice sportsmanship, attacking the bot," to which they replied with the usual, "UMAD?"

Then, in a later stage, we took them down within the first 10% of the map, and repeated the same shit-talking they did to us, and they replied, "GET READY 4 RAPE." We made it through the entire stage with a bot on our team, but near the end of the map, one of them tried to switch to our team to team-kill us, but we vote-kicked him before he could do anything.

I don't think I've ever felt such satisfaction from owning someone.

It angers me when someone kills me and says "Sit down" or something stupid. Then I just fucking rape them so hard the next few rounds in CS and reply with "Sit the FUCK DOWN."

I never talk smack because I'm a nice person ;P I don't really play much these days but when I do, it's usually QL. There isn't much shit talking going. The only time when there is, it's usually either a noob with downs or someone notorious for doing it - in both cases, most people either ignore them or laugh at them.

I dont really smack talk at all but I love gloating and bragging. and I only do it when I deserve it (dominations, top 1) and mostly its just like

But how often are you tops? If it's one game out of 5, for example, and your kill/death ratio still isn't tops, would you still try and say things like that? If Ali won 1 out of 5 fights, I doubt he'd talk smack like he did.

The only real time it should be proper to smack talk is when you're in the top 3 (mostly 1st) in k/d on a consistent basis. I hate little weasels that are on the (occasional) winning side, yet are always negative, and still try and talk smack.

I love beating people like you. Even if it's a fluke, wich it normally isn't, because they're so used to winning against random bk's that when you spank them and talk shit they get sooooo mad that it's just funny.

Who said anything about competitive gaming? You just seem to take pub smack talk seriously.

If it's just a pub game, smack talk just adds to that pubby atmosphere regardless of how good you are or not. I don't think people are going to pay attention to how consistently you've been scoring unless you run into the same people a lot.

I rarely run into games where someone is smack talking 1 or 2 games into it, unless it's to other people. When I start finishing at the top 4-6 times in a row, and even without saying a word, I'll get people smack talking me.

You have to admit that people that are never a positive for their team, yet smack talk, are what's wrong with smack talking. It'd be equivalent to a runner that didn't make the Olympics twittering about how bad the 4th place guy looked.

The fact that it adds to an all around bad atmosphere. The gaming community on xbox has done nothing but deteriorate sence origional xbox. You used to be able to go in and have a conversation with some random stranger. now all you can do is go in and smack talk some random stranger. It's annoying, how can we expect to improve on things as a community like stratigy and call outs if you can't even tell them something that doesn't have the word fag in it.

and yes community skill does matter. If you want to get better then you need to play people your skill level and above.

Now i know there's always going to be some one who is going to be an ass, i find that normally it's people who completly suck, and people who are just raping faces, every1 else normally needs to be provokedand. by all means shit talk the jack asses, it can be allot of fun. but for the most part shut ur mouth.

Well lets see on the majority of servers I find that depending on the map I usually top every round if I'm playing heavy, sniper especially if its defense, demo, soldier or medic. TF2 is my game thats what I play mostly, lately I've been getting back into counter-strike and I usually top the round 1 in 3 times if I'm stoned.

Im not a weasel the only time I talk on the mic is to gloat or tell a joke
