Yes.. the next map pack with 5 maps and no new spec ops at all. The maps are Vacant and Strike from CoD4 and then 3 new maps Carnival, Trailer Park and Fuel. Comes out on xbox June 3rd so probably July 3rd for PS3 and PC.

And of course, for $14.99.

I personally think its ridiculous how they price the map pack for this much again with pretty much the same content. The 3 new maps from the Stimulus package suck so much, the only good thing about it was Overgrown and Crash so this map pack will probably be the same, but that isn't going to stop people from buying it. All the CoD fanboys will be all over this just like what happened to the other one. It is still on the steam top sold list.

i agree, i didnt enjoy vacant that much, and strike wasnt on my favorites list either, and all mw2 maps suck so badly, tbh

Vacant wasn't terrible for CoD4. But, I'm just thinking about all of the people that are going to be using Lightweight, Marathon and Commando on that map.

Those that don't will rock duel shotguns or an AA-12 with Extended mags.

Or camp in a small area with scavenger and claymores with tubes and a thumper.

...the entire thought of it disgusts me.

Lol yup, that's what I did - it's actually kind of annoying now because even if I play normal Team Deathmatch 80% of the time I'll get the new maps and the majority of them are all terrible. So unless I'm playing with one of my friends who doesn't have the map pack I'm stuck playing bad maps.

The thing that bothers me the most is how they didn't even put some more spec ops in it. 5 maps and maybe another spec ops thing like a Foxtrot would have been fine but no.. doesn't make sense to me because spec ops is actually really fun playing with your friends.

Go ahead and look on ANY of the many community map sites for tf2, css or anything. If this game had dedi servers and modding there would be a shit ton of maps out for free that people have put hours of their time into. at £12ish in england. The most I would have paid for mw2 is £20-25 so I'm paying for HALF the price of the entire game again for a couple more mediocre maps and a few older ones. No thanks. If they offered both packs together for £12 together or 99p per map I'd be interested. It's a shame since vacant and strike are my faves from cod4. They'd probs jsut be ruined for me in mw2 though by the broken stuff that such a supporting dev team don't fix.

No $15 isn't a lot, but when you've already spent $59.99, then $15 for the previous pack you are now up to $90 spent on 1 game.

I don't care if this game brings the second coming, that's just getting to be too much for a single game, when other games (ie CS:S, TF2, DOOM[yes that old one, there's still a community for it]) are getting community involvement that is shared over dedicated servers which is keeping them alive.

But seriously - no map pack is worth 15 dollars - especially on PC. Come to think of it, aside from game expansions, I have yet to see a game on PC that requires people to pay to get additional non-expansive content until now.

15 bucks for a MAP PACK is a lot. ive had more fun on cs 1.6 custom user created mods/maps which were free. i still play MW2 for laughs- its still not a great game. trolling in the game with retarded perks and watching people call each other noobs/flaunting how pro they are in a CoD multiplayer game is pretty much worth buying MW2 for.

I realize why you're angry about dedicated servers. At the same time i can see how the devs feel. You don't go to a five star resteraunt and order something and then put ketchup on it. So no you're not allowed to have dedicated servers where you get to put you're own shit it. You knew you wouldn't have this BUT YOU BOUGHT THE GAME ANYWAYS. So get over it. And 15$ is not allot of money, and no one gives a shit about the old games listed above.
