Im wondering if the game is going to be completely redesigned considering that Bethesda isn't making it.

What do you think its going to look like?

Not exactly. Obsidian is missing a lot of the talent that Black Isle had, ie those that went on to Troika instead to make Arcanum and Bloodlines before closing down...as opposed to the buggy or rushed sequels that Obsidian is famous for.

It will be pretty much the same as Fallout 3, possibly with crazier plot lines but I doubt it will be anywhere near as polished.

I really like how the Hardcore mode sounds, hopefully it'll lead to as much immersion as I'm imagining.
It's not imbalance, it's asymmetry

Looks ok. Just the same because of the same engine but i am really interested in a new story and new quests, so i'll probably end up buying the normal edition because i really dont care about the gambling stuff that's included in the CE. I liked the Fallout 3 CE but i just really don't care about a bunch of pokerchips and a carddeck since i kinda hate playing card games..

Great, another bad game, which will look exactly like Fallout 3, which imo sucked.

Try 30 minutes.

I'm completely psyched for this game on top of regaining my enjoyment for FF again and busting out the DS and the NES, looks amazing and twice as dark as the third.

It's basically just Fallout 3 with a few new models and some tweaks (which you could already do with existing mods) when it comes down to mechanics and graphics, but we can expect massive improvements with the story and character development.

It may be using the same engine, models, and graphics Bethesda created, but the writing is back in the hands of the original creators.

I have moderate-to-high hopes.

You can tell bethesda isn't making it because the animations aren't complete shit

Most of the animations are going to be the same, but there's a definite improvement with some of the new models that required their own animation.

Granted, I use mods to change the animations in FO3 (one for living character animations, another for deaths. Seriously, Bethesda has no idea what people look like after they're shot in the head), but I can still see some of the changes, and I approve.
