WHAT: Is it?
This is a design contest for the Official Pure Pwnage forums. With having the same forum skins for about 5 years, we've decided its about time to change and add more options for our forum goers.

WHO can enter?
Anyone with a Pure Pwnage forum account may enter. If you do not have one and would like to enter, please feel free to contribute.

HOW do I enter?
Entering the contest is simple: Create a forum skin Compatable with IPB Board 3.0 and submit screenshots to this thread, along with the neccasary files for the skin. Use Rapidshare or media fire for File hosting, and Imageshack for image hosting (If you prefer others go ahead and use those. All is fair game). You must be able to post your creations in this thread. All submissions must include appropraite icons and menues to go alongside with IBP board 3. Bonus points for gaming related material/Pure Pwnage themed Skins. Content must be worksafe. Users are allowed multiple entries. Only users who submit entries will be able to have a shot of the grand prize: $100.00 in Noobstore merch.


WHEN is the deadline for submissions?
Contest Deadline is JUNE 30TH

PRIZES may include:
Prizes are still being discussed. First prize is $100.00 worth of noobstore merch at the Noobstore, and a custom title that will say "Forum Skin Contest Winner". More prizes will be added based on user outcome.

Judging
Judging these skins will be done by the users. Many will enter. Few will win.

Ooo, $100 worth of noobstore stuff, I might try just for that If I was imaginative/creative :|

Lets hope the $100 will be an incentive for a few people to produce some awesome skins.

EDIT: I also think this should be place in one of the PP sections, so discussion or something, it will get more attention there.

If anything, this belongs here more than anywhere else. In PP discussion it will get more initial attention, but it will die faster due to being flooded out by other threads. Not to mention most of the people good at the arts visit this section anyways. I could also make an announcement pointing to this thread.

It'd be cool if we could use this thread as a hub for suggestions for the skin design. I've had a few ideas, and I'm working on getting one to a state where I can show off what I have, but it'd be much easier to get what people want if they told me. This can be links to other forum styles, general suggestions, etc. Do it!

Over the years I think we have had 3 skins including this one. I remember a red and white one...
Anyways.. I love this skin and wouldn't like to see it changed.
I guess the only reason for the change is for the TV watchers to enjoy a more mainstream choice of colors and layout?
If a change happens I just hope I like it, cause the other 2 sucked and that's why we're using the 04 style again lol.

You can use whatever skin you want, I don't think they're removing the current skins.

Biggest issue here is that unless somebody ports this PurePwnage skin over to IPB3, I don't think it'll be staying. We originally thought it wouldn't be to difficult, but it's pretty damn different. Simply copy-pasting the skin over to the new version won't work, AFAIK.

I'm still learning a lot about skinning, so I can't exactly say it's going as smoothly as I want. Will post things when I have them in decent condition.
