On the first post, one of the "rules" is that the picks must be submitted 2 hours prior to the start of the PPV, whichever timezone it's in. Since we're only betting on the Main Card, and not the preliminaries, there's no need to worry about people cheating.

If I was taking this pool seriously, I wouldn't have counted Raptors picks. But what'evs. It's just for shits.

My picks, and why:

Mauricio "Shogun" Rua - Decision - Lyoto, like last time, won't be aggressive at all and I feel Shogun can finally solve him.

Josh Koscheck - Round 1 - KO/TKO - He wants to put on a strong showing in the hopes of getting a Title shot at GSP. The entire division, with the exception of Fitch, is pretty lacking. If Koscheck scores the quick win, he's gotta be the #1 contender.

Sam Stout - Decision - Canadian kid. This is more of a "hope" than anything else.

Kimbo Slice - Round 1 - KO/TKO - He's gotta impress in Montreal, or he could be on his way out.

Patrick Cote - Decision - Was on a roll before he got hurt. Might have even won the Championship. If he can still fight the way he did prior to the injury, he'll easily win this fight and be back in the Title picture before the end of the year.

The more I see this card, the more I wish I had tried to get tickets. Oh well. Maybe next year.

Ok, some of them were quiet hard to guess, so I went with who I would like to win.


Shogun - (T)KO - 4th round -> I really hope this will not go to the judges and that shoguns fucking win. MUAY THAI!!!!!!!!!!

Josh Koscheck - Decision -> Why would he bother the risk when he could simply take him down? He's not going to stand and trade with Daley, he's going to do a GSP. Also winner is facing GSP, so he will be extra cautious.

Kimbo Slice - (T)KO - 1st Round -> I don't think it will go further then the first round because they will be both gassed easily.

Belcher - Decision -> Cote recovered from a knee injury and Belcher is not unknown for leg kicks... I think Cote will get scared from those kicks, and so not fight properly.

Sam Stout - (T)KO - 3rd round -> I hope that this fight will end his 'decision wins' and that it will be the fight of the night!

I got rather ill on the weekend and missed the PPV. I've been incredibly tired after getting home from work each night (10 hour shifts) and haven't felt like updating the wall of blurry text.
