I've had CoH opposing fronts for a while and just recently discovered that there was an automatch icon_razz.gif so i can actually play against people of my level, when i was playing a lot more I looked in to ToV and thought it was stupid, so many abstract add ons when it dawned on me how lame it was that there were no Russians or Japanese factions

wouldn't a completely new faction or 2 capture your attention more than a few new units (for 30$ too lol)

I thought the Japanese should have been in opposing fronts anyways, the panzer elite are fun to play as but I want to see a full spectrum of WWII (like the british add on was great)


Anyways the community realized this before relic did apparently and took 4 years with a mod team to make the Red army Link so hopefully relic will get off their asses and make this an official release along with a japanese army and a pacific Island campaign

THAT is an expansion worth paying for imo

lol I know, I played about 10 custom games with people (lowest levels were about 7) and I was just getting raped so I was like fuck it and gave up on it for awhile

Does anyone play this game against the AI? i only play against the AI. I have got the Eastern Front game, and boy are the Soviets hard to play against!

You should give Men of War a shot. Got your nazis and ruskies and japs and brits with a shit load more detail and depth and units

TBH I'd rather see some actual balancing done, with regards to the current factions, before adding in any new ones. I have a 100% win rate as Wermacht, just from doing engi spam..

Everyone I meet on the ladder. I obviously transition out of it, but I haven't come accross anyone who can counter it as an opening. You can just secure total map control so quickly with engineers that you just rocket into the lead.

I haven't played in years now tho, so I probably wouldn't be able to pull it off now, lol.

So you honestly think you can do the same strat from a few years ago and the game hasn't been changed or patched since?

Yes. As for pio spam, mines, 2 flamers of your own and some vanilla rifle men can still take down pio blob. Also a blob is not effective for map control imo

Yea, lol, but I'm not grouping them together. I'm spamming them to gain quick map control, then transitioning with a superior economy. I would never really use them in groups of more than 2 at most.

Just looked this up thinking it was a mod.

Look eerily like Company of Heroes in terms of graphics.
