TBH. I played Protoss for SC1, but I really really want to play Terran for SC2. I mean, for Sc1, Terran didn't really need more then Goliath's and Turrets for AA. Now that there is no Goliaths, and turrets cost more minerals, yet Terran doesn't seem to play anything like SC1 terran. Your army doesn't get fat and sit and slowly creep across the map with tanks and spider mines/vultures. I really can't see how making missle turrets everywhere but your base can be any use.

Thors aren't the end all, no unit is sc2 really. As support to a much larger army, they can compliment terran well though. Attacking 4 air units with 1 round? Yesum!

I also forgot to mention Ravens in my post as well, little bit more situational though. If the zerg likes to clump up his mutas, a lucky missile shot can do some hurt.
To win rts, be prepared to lose...a lot.

I dunno if you've seen much cowgomoo playing, but his replays show how well hellions do against hydra. With support of course, but the huge damage bonus for light actually rips through hydras really well.

I actually like the auto turret, it's free tanking and damage.
To win rts, be prepared to lose...a lot.

beta was patched to play replays and more recently very easy ai's....which are...VERY easy. You can literally defend with one marine 12 minutes into the game.

I have the beta and play online. It's pretty addictive and very fun. icon_biggrin.gif

An I think it's perfectly fine if people want to do that sort of stuff.

I avoid it because I think it's bad karma. I believe that if I play the cracked versions that Blizzard will some how know and -not- send me an invite later. ):

Edit: Thoza, I've only really watch Lumi play. I haven't watched lately 'cause I been busy with a plethora of games but I watched him all night every night for the first 2 weeks lol.

AI's are upgraded now. They're still pretty easy, but not "stupid-easy" now.

No, they're pretty bad. As in very very bad.

Lol my friend was playing it, and I watched for a bit. It was horrible.

The terran lost it's main pretty fast and then was just building starports all over the map...

His friend gave him a CD key so he could create an account to opt in, since you can't opt in if you don't register any games, or I think that's how it works, I forget. I could've made like 8 accounts, but I already registered everything to one account so, oh well. I made my account several months before they introduced the opt in so I didn't really know. I probably wouldn't have made 8 accounts anyways.
