I've been playing Protoss lots. Blimp Rushes are no longer what they used to be. I do have a really freakkin awesome where I managed to distract a guy long enough to pull out 6 blimps and a mother ship, take out his base, and his forward base (which was next to my base and my natural expansion).

I havent played too many games, maybe close to 15, but some units for protoss aren't doing it for me. Like the Stalker. It seems kind of expensive and underpowered. Maybe theres a mechanic I'm not using or used to yet? I dont know. I haven't played SC since my freshman year in highschool.

Has anyone used Banelings yet? I keep wanting to use them, but never get the opportunity to utilize them ;_;

Stalkers are actually pretty good in numbers. I like getting warpgates/warp prism and then start dropping them down in the enemy base in waves for some terrible damage. They also have a new blink ability which can allow you to teleport them into the miner line on some maps.

I haven't had much practice with banelings yet. Im thinking maybe getting roaches with upgraded burrowing that allows them to move burrowed so I can sneak them around places and then turn them into a big minefield.

I also found out the hard way that terran hellions are a very effective counter to two gate zealot spamming.

Why don't you play a game to have fun? Y'know. To enjoy it?

There is a difference between pleasure and enjoyment.

To take pleasure from a game is to rush for carriers and feel like a hero because you are trash.

To enjoy a game is to devote all of your mental capacity to the game. Explore the game to find it's secrets, and exploit and learn from them. Go through countless losses, practice when you don't feel like doing so, and a win or two here and their to keep your confidence up. Only by doing this can you understand, and then love, a game.

Reapers are fucking OP OMG!!!! The only good t1 unit to counter reapers that I found are marines! which suxxx! 6 reapers can destroy your nexus/commandcenter/hatch in less than 20 seconds its ridiculous! THen if you try and send any melee units at them they fly away and can infinitely outmaneuver lings or zealots.

Uh, what? Whats the matter? Is there something wrong with using a "nerfed" strategy in SCII and winning that doesn't make me a Hero? I dont get it. I was using an innefective rush tactic, whilest being stalled, from an offensive on my base, held him off and distracted him long enough That I was able to secure a second base that he didnt know about, build an army and wipe him? I recall Flash doing that a few times. He used Reavers though. Hero Indeed. I have the replay, so if you want to watch in In SCII you are more than welcome to watch it
