Alright, so I've been playing MW2 since it came out, and I'm unbelievably sick of it, I hate IWnet and can't stand that shit any more. Are there any other new-ish FPS out right now that have pretty good online?

You might want to look into Battlefield: Bad Company 2. It doesn't come out until March but there's a beta out and it's very promising.

yeah, I saw a buddy play the demo for that, looked pretty cool, but I'm not a big fan of the vehicle part. Anyway, I'm kinda looking for a game out now that's pretty new, but pretty cheap, also fun.

You're out of luck then, if I were you (And most people are usually thankful there not) i'd just stick away from the whole "Tactical Warfare FPS" genre as it is unless you're going to play CS. BC2 and CoD4/MW2 are literally your only choices, and seeings how you want something new i'm guessing you dont want to play Source or something like QuakeLive. Enjoy playing nothing.

yeah bc2 should be fun and btw its only the beta so most people leave vehicles on but when its released you'll easily be able to find inf only servers if you have a problem with

doesn't that apply to almost anything in life?

i wouldn't bother trying to get the 'new' games, because they die out, however if you find games that are still active years after their release such as cs and tf2 (its been like 2 1/2 don't be mad at me) they will be cheap and fun with a consistant player base thatll be around for a while

Lol, when you put it that way, I might just have to try it out. TF2 is a great game, I have it and have been playing it for ever now. I guess its time I return to TF2.

Bioshock 2 has a multiplayer

I haven't looked into it at all, just because of lack of interest, but it might be worth looking at, at least...

QuakeLive. Funner, and a helluva lot more competitive.

After playing through Bioshock recently, Bioshock 2's multiplayer could be very good. I'd pick that up if you could.
