Yeah, I actually started thinking about it after I posted that and realised that the game might be better suited for instanced gameplay but...I want open

with instanced aswell of course.

Will be playing if for nothing more than 40k lore (which, lets face it, curbstomps all other lore). Not to worried if it looks like s tps since guns are pretty primary to most (Read: all) races in the 40k universe. Anyways looks good and I can't friggin wait to see a Bainlord putting its fist through the smug ass face of a Warmonger and showing them how feeble their false emperor really is =P

It has a limitless trial now that lets you play tier 1 indefinitely. Not sure if they are still doing it, but they also had the Call to Arms event or whatever it was that gives you free game time and a shit load of items for reactivating your account. I got a 20% exp gain scroll and a bunch of other stuff when I re-subbed a few months ago.

Honestly I thought WAR sucked balls when it launched. But it so much more polished now they balanced the classes and trimmed some of the bloated play mechanics

Most of it comes off as just silly instead of truly gritty I find (though yes, there's plenty of pieces that curbstomp).

I'm really curious as to how this game will play out. I mean, if you can play as IG, how balanced would it be to fight against Chaos Space Marines? Unless you have a plasma gun, or maybe a hellgun they should never ever win.

Well maybe powerfist in melee range.
