Ok so change of topic from prev topic:

I got myself a CM HAF 932 + a cougar 1000w PSU and switched all my stuff from the Antec 900

But.......

My computer won't boot :| Code D0 <usually memory - tried different memory already>
Actually a lot of stuff happened when i switched cases:
my IDE Hard drive can't be read by BIOS <my Vista's there + bootmgr>
it won't boot from disc so i can't use the windows 7 repair tool.
And the d0 error... which is my current problem.... goes to FF then d0 then 07 for like 5 secs then FF then stops at d0..... It won't let me see any screen at all....

Specs:
XFX nForce 750i motherboard
Intel core 2 quad Q9400 @ stock clocks - will overclock once i fix this
2x2gb Corsair XMS2 6400
1x Seagate 300GB IDE - Will move data to a future sATA hard drive - bootmanager + vista in here
1x WD Caviar Green 500GB sATA - Windows 7 in here
1x Lite-On dvd +/- DL writer
Coolermaster HAF932 case <replaced Antec 900>
HEC Cougar 1000w PSU <replaced Antec trupower trio 650w>

My mate got a Silverstone Raven RV01 yesterday, he loves it. Plenty of room for cable management etc. I am quite sure it's 100% tool less, also the motherboard is rotated 90 degrees so everything plugs in at the top etc instead of the back.

There is also the Silverstone Raven RV02 again I am quite sure it's 100% tool less. Basically the same as the RV01 with features it's just longer and such, oh and the window is on the right hand side.

RV01 is full tower while the RV02 is mid tower. The only thing I hate about the RV01 is the plastic molding in the front. You can easily punch a hole through it (although I do not really recommend punching it icon_biggrin.gif)

Also, the RV02 is a cheaper than the RV01.

/Thread - HAF 933 is fine. Plenty of space, really good interior and exterior and really heavy. Wait, did I say really heavy?

Try to reconsider with the RV01 and RV02 too, they're not that bad at all as I personally sell and own those cases too icon_biggrin.gif

The RV01's cabling looks cramped at the back; kinda hard for me to set up all the wirings seeing that I change equipment at least every 2 weeks. + motherboard facing up kinda scares me :\

I'll consider the RV01 though icon_smile.gif I need a hands-on check on the product though; still kinda looks a bit weird with the wiring at the back.

I also checked on a 5970 - its HUGE! No way it will fit my Antec 900 :\ I really need to switch soon - Hopefully within 2nd week of January before third trimester starts for me.

RV01 is one of my favorite cases. The rotated mounting works brilliantly, and only adds to cooling.

You could consider a Corsair Obsidian, the harddrives are hot-swappable and cabling is handeld awesomely. Its pretty expensive and huge though. If you're really hellbent on throwing out so much money, do feel free to paypal me some xD

This is exactly what has been going on through the entire thread, and it's not the first time either.
You come to us for advice..you just spell out what you want to get, and then ask us if it is okay, and we have to explain why it isn't. That's the world upside down.. If you would just say 'hey guys, I have an X amount of money, what should I buy?' Then this would be over in 2-3 posts, not 2-3 pages.

Not wrong about the cooling factor.
My mate is running an overclocked i5 set up @ 3.66 in his RV01 it runs at less than 30 Degrees idle and no more than 35 under load, although I have no idea what cooler he using.

I'm reading around the RV01 - temps do go down but i'm kinda scared at the fact that I'm flipping my motherboard 90 degres + I'm using an adaptor for monitor (hence the need for me to switch monitors as well). Design wise no offense to those who like it but I hate it - period. It doesn't look like something Id get a hang of compared to others. Price tag wise it kinda hurts (like the Cosmos) but numbers don't lie this computer will remove heat fast.

As of now its this, the armor, the haf 932 and the cosmos black.... I doubt I'll be using the storm sniper - Its nice (really nice) but I guess I need the size? (though I must admit I had fun assembling the Storm Sniper setup) They should make a full tower ATX version of the storm sniper - I'd buy that for sure awesome2.png <-- where did this smiley come from anyway?

Btw any comments on this monitor?
http://www.lge.com/p...l/w2442pa.jhtml
vs
http://www.samsung.c...type=prd_detail

Currently I'm leaning on the HAF932 mainly cuz its cheap - I can invest more on the 1000w PSU (I'm planning to install the gf100 or whatever they call it on an SLI setup)
I doubt however it'd be something that would look as awesome2.png as the Storm sniper....

The HAF case isn't cramped and it will be my next full tower choice.
Its a good price also for a full tower.

LG is good but I would go for the samsung.

I have the HAF 932 and love it! Easy cable management, roomy, and awesome cooling.

Just keep in mind,if you purchase that case,it doesn't come with filters. I knew this from the get-go,and ordered filter media material, prior to setting up rig.

I don't have stocks here anymore and the restocking will be next year. So if you're gonna buy one from me, its going to be around next year because the supplier is closed till next year.

Why don't you check your local resellers there? If there's plenty of stock there, you better buy there because its pretty expensive if im going to ship it. But if stocks are low in there, I can have one shipped in an instant. We don't have stocks crisis here awesome2.png

I just got the HAF 932 for Christmas and yea, everything this guy says.

What do you mean no filters though? And where can I just find some to order myself?

The only annoying thing about the HAF is the fucking HDD LED. It's like a freaking rave light.

Yep still not working :\

There are times when I just turn on the power it shuts off.... A while ago i was able to reach POST and got into BIOS but not lately....

There are times as well where i can go past BIOS but it won't boot anything even from the disc drive :\ It just shows me a blinking "_" on the upper left corner.
I tried removing all sATA hubs and repluggin them in but it didn't work.

Gahhh I just switched cases and all this? icon_sad.gif

Before I forget, i removed everything (videocard, ram, etc) and no beep :| I don't think it's the motherboard cuz i mean it was working before i changed it. I wasn't able to test the Power supply with my old one cuz i already sold it :\

clarification:
My friend bought my Antec 900 + the trupower trio PSU and his computer was able to boot properly. I didn't think about testing my old PSU in my new setup cuz we were in a hurry.

I was gonna say that but:

I never actually used my hands in this setup (I asked people from the shop to build it - not me.) + this is the 2nd RMA already :| 3 weeks due to the new year thing..

In that case, take it back an have them refund it? If they blew up your motherboard then it's up to them to pay you back.
