What? You mean people are actually following through with an internet movement?

I'm suprised no-one's pointed out yet that RATM are on the Epic label, which is owned by Sony. Whereas the X-Factor winners, including the latest one, are all on the Syco Music label, which is...um...owned by Sony. Stick it to the man, guys

I think the article did that some guy posted a while back or it was another article i read. I just thought the funniest thing was that the lyrics 'Fuck you i won't do what you tell me' are repeated through out the song and there's a group telling you to buy the single.

Yeah. Rage Against the Machine, anti-consumerism musicians. Let's all buy their music to change a placing on the pop charts! I'm sure they'd be proud

But, I'd still rather see this as the number 1 as opposed to some X Factor shit. Also I'm pretty impressed that it's worked, internet movements usually fail hard.

So it's a win/win for me. Oh yeah and about those nudes I promised...

leave it to the English to no understand rebellion. This didn't happen in the US, it happened in that little island full of snobby tea drinking yahoos. icon_razz.gif

From what I understand, "X Factor" is like american idol and other shitty shows about pop singers battleing it out for a record deal that they'll use once and then fade into obscurity. These kinds of things generally make it to the top of the charts and everyone is like "ohhh boy! this guy is a superstar!". This time, a bunch of RATM fans decided to bring it down a peg or two. You can say it doesn't matter, because it doesn't, but it still happened and the people who bought Killing in the Name in the UK were rewarded for their purchase. Y'all are just mad you didn't become part of history, however obscure and minute it may be.

RATM are worse than manufactured pop? WAH?

1. It'll show that there are a large proportion of people that dont want to hear manufactured pop shit and that reality tv is just a fad.

2. They can put that into making the PS4 then derp

3. They're against the norm, "fight the war, fuck the norm". X factor winner being xmas number one - a depressing norm
