The simple response to problems you're having with killstreaks is to not die as much.
Don't get grabbed.
And sin yeah you probably are better than me. I don't even own the game I just play it on my flatmates 360 and do decently enough and in all honesty I don't think it matters if you're better than me. The problems I've stated do exist. Sure maybe you're not dying at all in the game and have a cold blooded perk which I do personally really like but most people don't use that perk and most people do die. I'm quite amazed to hear you've never had a situation of a predator missile coming down on your head right after a spawn. Hell I've seen it enough times playing or watching oother people play on my flatemates console to make me consider it more than a bit frustrating since they're got no input in it or even spawning in a place just out in the open. Normally yes you'd aim for more than one person with the pred but often people jtend to just boost straight at the first target they see and I've seen plenty of games when my flatmate has run away from teammates or is all by himself and STILL been targetted. I do also think it's rather laughable that the best way to play a supposedly team based game is to stay the fuck away from everyone on your team as much as possible.
Sure all of you lot here are incredibly good survivalists of the seananners level and don't have any issues with bad spawns because you never die or majorly frustrating killstreak times but the average person does have these issues, there are often tiems when I've seen many people playing even those who are decent at aiming and such not have a chance to move before they're killed by a chopper gunner or AC 130. In that MW2 in 8 minutes vid you can see the prt where he doesn't even move his aim from the gunner just holds down fire and the enemy team are constantly being spawned into a room they cannot get out of or away from him in time.
This was an issue in CoD4 but to much smaller extent that the sort of people who can be gettting 11 kill streaks easily really don't need a super power to help them a long the way. Thankfully more people seem to be wising up to having an anti air class and I've forced my friend to make one with the stinger and cold blooded so that it's easy enough to take one out after you die (well not so easy on the ac 130 unless someone else is shooting with you. The idea of being forced to swap class or kill yourself to stop a powerful thing like that is rather dumb in the first place but I won't go into that. And still even then. You can't shoot down a pred whic his probably the most common one.
UAV/Counter UAV is probs still the most useful one in the game too and the killstreak reward that seems to work with the perks like cold blooded beign a good tradeoff for stopping power.
And yeah scrambler oes seem to be fairly pointless. The only thing I could think of it being useful for is if you actually had to work with your teammates in the game then it could mask how many of you there are or mask which way you teammates are going. I haerd it slowed down claymores or summat like that?
Rant over I do like the game, there are just some rather stupid issues with it that kinda make it less enjoyable for a more casual player against someone who would easily be beating them anyway without these rewards.
