im not sure if this should go here or in the movies section but some time ago it would seam that Ubisoft decided to make a live action preqile to Assassins creed 2 following the main characters Father for three episodes.

I was excited about this when I heard about it, because I loved AC. I was kinda let down though, I don't know if it's just me but I found I couldn't really get into Lineage.

Running around doing tedious and boring tasks over and over again to complete goals in an area to earn rep amongst other things. That kinda of reminds me of a game, ohhhhh I dont know World of Warcraft

At least the latter has something to show for it Fucking huge shoulder garments

Oh come on, its nothing like World Of Warcraft, Whats not to like about running around and assassinating people ? lol, You cant expect to have tons of variation to a game which is based around assassinations, but there are other things to do.

I cant wait for AC2 to come out but sadly its out on PC on the 26th Feb 2010, but out for PS3 and 360 on the 20th this month, so im tempted to rent it for a week on the PS3 when it comes out, its gunna be so awesome being able to use 2 hidden blades at once, and throw people off buildings, and SWIM

Assassin's Creed 2 seems to be to be somewhat like Pokémon Gold and Silver. Hear me out here guys.

Pokémon Red and Blue (not counting yellow/crystal as they weren't released everywhere) were the originals, they were awesome, but lots of people wanted other things (like the mobile (cell) phone, radio, storing money with mum (pretty good if you wipe a lot...I never lost a Pokémon battle though) and various other shiny, new things. Then they realised that giving everyone what they want took away from the experience (much like WoW has nowadays). Now, Assassin's Creed 2 will be epic, but I mean come on, they're basically giving you a gun on your hand, two hidden blades, various other things? Could be a bad move, and if theres an Assassin's Creed 3 (more than likely, with companies milking every saga for what its worth) they might take it out, if it detracts from the experience (i.e. assassination missions - opposite rooftop, aim, fire, run...way too easy). This way Assassin's Creed 3 will be like Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire - well done, with not too much crap, and not too little.

This made a lot more sense in my head.

Yeh and unlike WoW you dont have to subscribe to jump around and do tedious boring tasks over and over again. Snap

at first I thought this series was totally shit. Then i thought that it actually kind of looks like a videogame cutscene so i thought ok that's fair enough.

Not necessarily....But yes Ill agree the sub fees and expansion Costs are a bit too high for a low end MMO like WoW. Back to assasins creed please.
