I'm trying to grasp the 'balance' in this game. It seems like your initial strategy and succes is crucial, after which you reach a certain position. Lower people probably won't touch you, and higher ones..well, it just depends on how much higher people will hit you.

Does anyone know what the game is programmed in? I highly doubt that it is all in flash animation but elements of it are flash.

lol, considering the huge CPU load it generates I'm rpetty sure its mostly flash.. also, JArett only mentioned flash so far.

This was my strategy in comm beta 2.
I got all military + forests mostly, save maybe 100 industry. So by the end of 36 turns i was rank 70 about, but with a huge military. Attacked the top people with it and now i am top 10 xD Imo it's a good strat

Is the game down for anyone else? When I try to enter it gives me the ugh...error every time, even if I log out or whatever.

This seems like it'll be a good new version of this old strategy game I played on strategy-games.net years ago where you'd play as orcs, humans, elves, or dwarves and you'd build your army and you'd have turns that would accumulate over time which you'd use to recruit armies and attack enemies and such.
So excited to see someone bringing back the idea =)
