I'm going to keep this short and simple. Derren Brown apparently predicted the UK lottery last night. Many of us all saw it live. Here's an article on it:

Daily Mail coverage.

It's the first in a series of stunts for his new series "The Events". If you do a bit of research on them you'll see that he's going to be trying to incapacitate viewers and whatnot. Generally, it sounds like his most ambitious and AWESOMELYCOOL stuff yet. I mean, the dude seems to have predicted the lottery.

There's not much else to say until we start discussing it. So...

Obviously he tricked us viewers somehow, I want to see exactly what he did since it won't be something lame like a camera trick and if it was sleight of hand surely someone would have found out how by now.

I didn't watch the lottery one last night but i have watched his other shows, and he is absolutely amazing, aspecially the oracle readings he did. So im hoping these will be equally impressive

We were getting one of his shows for a bit in the States, and I have to say I thought it was awesome. He did one trick that to this day still blows my mind. He asked a symphony to start playing randomly, and the conductor to think of a song and conduct to it. It started out as a mass of organized noise, but eventually became the very song the conductor was thinking of. I don't know how he pulled that trick off, but it was cool. I can't wait to hear how he did this one.

I watched that series aswell. In one episode, he walks up to a random person asking for directions to a place, one question after another and u see the random person handing personal belongings ie wallet, car keys to darren! Pretty cool guy.

I read somewhere that he is an expert of NLP and mind control. I think that's why he can pull off these tricks.

Did you even read the article i linked, lol?

He met Camelot (the Lottery organisers) beforehand and had a meeting. Subsequently, he was banned from buying a ticket.

I don't mean to imply he did this "for real". But, i'm just saying...!

Yep, that was the same series. I still can't figure out how in the world he did the symphony one. Think of how many minds he would have had to manipulate at once to get that to work.

Anyone ever see the one where he took a girl that never played piano before apart from few lessons when she was a kid and then he made her play something really hard.

A lot of people are saying it was a camera trick or sleight of hand. I really doubt it's that basic because i don't think he'd have the show picked up if it was that simple. Like, imagine if at 9pm today the reveal comes on and he says, "Well, i just froze the left hand side of the screen while someone placed the balls as they came up. Aha!". It'd be really anti-climatic, lol.

So, i'm pretty certain it'll be a cool trick. Do you get what i mean?
