Okay... how the Fu** do you guys get so many headshots? I know I am a n00b to PC gaming, but it's like... every time I turn a corner.... BOOM! Headshot... Not cool. Then I get bitched at for being bad at the game lol


seriously...any tips?

To be honest. It is that easy. That's not to say that it's easy, but just that it's not that much more complicated than that. While all that doesn't seem very helpful and there are a lot of other factors at play, it does mainly just come with experience.

Just get to know the maps inside out and the weapons and their recoil patterns. Get to know your mouse. Get to know your desk. And one of the most important things of all - get to know your enemy.

It may seem like a lot of headshots are due to super-fast twitch reactions, but they're not. Mostly, they have been planned. The crosshairs will already be at head height and the player will already be expecting someone to be running into them. That comes with experience and good game sense (which also comes with experience).

Of course, reaction speed and mouse accuracy is a big and helpful part of it, but that comes in time.


Just play more.

Its not hard to get a headshot, create your own server, put a couple of bots on the other team, put them on easy and just get used to the weapons and aiming for the head.

Agreed the guy is already playing source. No need to tell him to play 1.6 because you prefer it more then source.


Best help I can give you is to learn the game. It's a complex game to master.

Just keep playing it and learn the game, and you'll get better. Don't listen to other people telling you your bad. It doesn't do poop for you.

ONLY USE: AK, M4, AWP, MP5, or Deagle

all other guns are pretty much worthless

Obviously you don't know how to use either weapon.

The Famas is great on Burst mode sometimes.

The last bullet in the Galil magazine is a 99% headshot bullet when firing on full auto. It must be, because -every- time it gives me one, every time.
