YES. This is fecking AMAZING. Hopefully that means we'll still be able to watch it on the internet too? Since most of us don't live in canada.
As far as I'm concerned, this is 100% a good thing, as it hopefully means there will be a much higher budget/production value, much more episodes (8 in one year, that's a huge improvement over the last two years), and it will become much more popular. As long as Showcase doesn't do much to mess with the series, this should be the greatest thing since the show started.

The Game Development is still happening, no news of it not, and I'm taking from the Sponsorship from the Canadian Government its not going to stop before a release.
The Web Series / Show is still happening, just without Geoff as Kyle or as Cameraman. However Geoff will be providing music for the web series.
The Project X / TV series will obviously be separate from the web series due to that information, just with the Pure Pwnage characters.

Everyone who lives in canada do try to get it some views. It's a shame that because the channel isn't broadcast all over the world those of us in other countries are unable to support the show by watching it on tv unless they're going to count streaming over the web hits. Looking forward to it. I'll be interested to see how they carry on the plot whilst sort of summing things up/doing an introduction in the first ep for new people. They'll probs have to tone down some of the suggestive motion ownage stuff for tv which is a shame
