Currently there is no win scenario. There will be several scenarios added in the 2000s era (We are currently 1700s). Elite training boosts the ability of your troops in combat. Training is automatically given to your troops. You can take over other cities in enemy territory, currently grey is off limits. There is a 10 day no-offense to all players. Combat is city to city, or ships to cities. When you deploy troops, you tell me in which city you want them placed. Days are real days because we have users from several different areas. There will be buyable buildings later in the game, which will include ways to boost your resources.

So then we can't take cities in our own area? Or do we just own all the cities in our colour by default and we can put troops wherever we want, with no extra cost of time having to send them from our capital? So basically we're just attacking other colours, the cities are irrelevant? How long will it take to get to the 2000s era? If I understand this right, let's say I make 1 rifleman, it takes 1 day to train a rifleman. Then after it finishes, I can give it elite training, which will take another 2 days plus another $250, right? Also, if I make 10000 rifleman it will still take 1 day, right? You also say cavalry are bad against nothing, so does that mean a cavalry can fight a boat, and later on an air unit? Realistically it doesn't make much sense, but it's a game so I just wanted to know. I assumed that tan had some sort of advantage for being an island as well, since people can't reach it very easily.

All cities in your color by default, and there is no time cost to place them in your cities. Travel takes 1 day (so if you deploy em in Philly, it takes a day to Boston, a day to NY, etc). Cavalry isn't bad against anything as of this point, meaning they are neutral with them. Cavalry cannot fight boats because they are not on water silly Navies are naval to naval battles, and can bombard coastal cities (which does less damage, but defense has to be from air and sea units). And no matter how many units you build, they take the same amount of time.
