Can anyone recommend me some good FULL (as in 5 maps making one campaign) vs campaign/maps for Left 4 Dead? I can't play online only with my friends locally and we're getting pretty bored of the existing ones.

Thanks in advance.

This is exactly what has been going on through the entire thread, and it's not the first time either.
You come to us for advice..you just spell out what you want to get, and then ask us if it is okay, and we have to explain why it isn't. That's the world upside down.. If you would just say 'hey guys, I have an X amount of money, what should I buy?' Then this would be over in 2-3 posts, not 2-3 pages.

Yes, they are working on a sequel, but they announced that they are still going to release updates for L4D1: http://kotaku.com/52...rt-for-original

Ye I thought so. If I'd heard about it, I would have made a proffesional versus map.
(De_Dust2 ftw)

When they release it so we can edit versus maps, then I think L4D1 could possibly be competitive.

The current ones aren't suitable for professional competing?

The current ones get too repetitive.

That doesn't mean they're not suitable for professional play. I'm sure many people believe the same thing about other multiplayer FPS maps.

Actually there are Custom Maps out but they aren't exactly great by what I have read due to the lack of a SDK.

lolno

The game is more based on luck of the draw atm if you have a bunch of professionals playing. In a good scrim, it just depends who goes first and what they get that decides the winner.

If someone could make good versus maps they could easily fix that.
