I searched for this and couldn't find it (searched for pawnage) - so apologies if this is a dupe.
Anyway, was channel hopping and extremely shocked to find "Pure Pawnage" on channel 171 (sky digital). Sadly when I put it on, it seemed to be some show about rap culture...yet the program description was that of pure pwnage (following canadian gamer jeremy etc..).
Anyone know anything about this? Also why is it called pawnage and not pwnage?
Cheers

No idea..but is sounds exciting. too bad you can't view past TV listings on Sky's site. Don't you get something like that on paper in the mail every week ?

This is exactly what has been going on through the entire thread, and it's not the first time either.
You come to us for advice..you just spell out what you want to get, and then ask us if it is okay, and we have to explain why it isn't. That's the world upside down.. If you would just say 'hey guys, I have an X amount of money, what should I buy?' Then this would be over in 2-3 posts, not 2-3 pages.

Every time someone goes against Weiman's sig I feel like they should be bludgeoned for a few minutes in the head to feel the headache I feel when I realize someone really IS that dense.

Yeah, and if you do find a way to search for it by keyword, don't use "pawnage".

Why would I not use pawnage when the crux of the matter is that the broadcaster has incorrectly spelled the name?

Oh, I thought you had misspelled it, sorry about that.

Not to my knowledge (full episodes I'm talking about, I know they've allowed clips on TV - e.g. Urban Rush).
I'm fairly sure a while ago someone found a TV channel broadcasting PP and the PP team had to look into it as they hadn't given then permission to air it.. (vague memory of that though).

I guess some people will do anything to evangelize Pure Pwnage.. Even if it pisses off the creators.

It sounds interesting. I would like to hear more about it, especially when they're misspelling it "Pawnage".

I think OP was referring to searching other topics related to this issue but he searched "Pawnage" by accident.
But if the show was Pure Pawnage, then maybe they did that on purpose to avoid copyright? It could also be something as easy as a type-o.
