I have limited play time with the evo this summer but I have got most/all of my mods planned and bought for this year:

Exedy 4 Puck Sprung clutch
Fidanza lightweight flywheel
AEM Boost Gauge & Wideband O2 sensor
Second set of stock GSR rims (now have 2 sets, 1 for winter, 1 for summer). Still debating on getting my summer set powder coated
Ultimate Racing O2 Housing/Downpipe exhaust with catless test-pipe and single exit exhaust

I'll tune it all up with the Cobb AP tuner I bought in December for a Stage 2 tune worth 40-50 additional HP.

Next summer will most likely be a full brake upgrade, rotors, lines, pads.

For a cheap "mod" I am also debadging the trunk.

God, WHY is it so hard just to change a freaking tail light these days? Today in the Cobalt, I had to not only unscrew the 2 screws holding the fixture in place, but unscrew 2 fasteners for the trunk carpeting, and then another little hidden nut, and then getting the actual bulb out of the fixture was a bitch too  All I have to do on my truck is unscrew the transparent cover..

Oh, kind of exciting, my dad's looking for an old local, decent priced muscle car; specifically he wants a Nova, Chevelle, Monte Carlo, Impala, or.. really any Chevy, or a Chrysler/Plymouth/Dodge, esp. an old Satellite. When he eventually gets one, I get to have the 02 Impala Plus I'll get to drive his muscle car a bit too

EDIT: Guys I'm hopefully getting a new (used) car tomorrow! I'll post pics and stuff if it all goes well, I'm super-excited

Hey guys, well I drove up to Michigan today and picked up this bad boy:

1991 Pontiac Firebird

She's got a 5.0L V8, and recently got a new Flowmaster exhaust system and new tires. I'm so excited and I love her, and going 70MPH on I69 with the windows down and the roof panels off is a fuckin blast OH and she has a CD player too

Anyways, I need the help of any late-night forum browsers. Tomorrow morning (well I guess today now ) I'm getting a plate for it, and I need ideas for a custom plate (I think they're 7 or 8 letters). I want something internet/gaming related. I was thinking either "URANOOB", "LOLNOOB", "HEADSHOT" or something like that, but those all seem really unoriginal and lame to me. Any ideas would be appreciated Actually I guess I could do something related to the car too, like "91FBODY" or whatever but we'll see I suppose. This is all assuming I can even get custom plates.

Hmm, really liking the QUPNSEE, altho Im not the type to drag on the streets, plus this car is a cop magnet, so it could be inviting trouble.. redroket and red hot are good too. I wanted to just get "FUCKYOU" or "FECKYOU" on it, because that pretty much sums me up, but that didnt go over well w/ my mom. Or I could do something with "Im a pc"

Um, hmm seems in Indiana the way it works is I reserve a plate and pay $48 before october 31, and then get it mailed to me for the next year, so seems for now I just have to get a normal "boring" plate. :/ Oh well..

Its a £5,995 which is not bad for a japanese import Skyline GTR R32 (Twin Turbo). Its being sold at a local showroom who specialise in importing jap-cars from the japanese auctions.

gotta be careful though, my friend almost got jacked when he was going to buy a couple of alpine r-types from some guy

edit: Idea for your plate, "HOONAGE" kind of like "PWNAGE" but it's more a car term.

Wow........... best thing ever in my life just happened

So I posted pics of my Bird on facebook right? Well, a friend of mine and I are talking about it and I tell him its gonna be a chick magnet, and then he tells me a female friend of his told him she LOVES my car and is jealous, so I friended her and we talked about everything imaginable for 2+hours. It was amazing... its the first real conversation like that I've had with a girl, and it was really fun .. more fun than minesweeper! So now we're good friends now, and of course my friend is telling me to ask her if she wants to go for a ride but I'm not like that, so we'll see what happens and if it goes anywhere! SO, basically, my car hooked me up with a chick!
