Okay I have been playing cs for a while now without any trouble but now for some reason when i move my mouse
and move around with my keyboard at the same time my mouse stops moving and jumps. My friend told me to
put hl.exe in task manager to low priorities, that worked at first but after like 1 to 3 mins i get ther uber lag that makes my ping
5000 and my fps goes to 6 and i can't even move. I have a radeon 9600 grapics card. I was wondering if anyone also has this problem and if they fixed it

So is it just your mouse jumping? You sure it's not your mousepad or something

This is exactly what has been going on through the entire thread, and it's not the first time either.
You come to us for advice..you just spell out what you want to get, and then ask us if it is okay, and we have to explain why it isn't. That's the world upside down.. If you would just say 'hey guys, I have an X amount of money, what should I buy?' Then this would be over in 2-3 posts, not 2-3 pages.

Every time someone goes against Weiman's sig I feel like they should be bludgeoned for a few minutes in the head to feel the headache I feel when I realize someone really IS that dense.

Because I have never heard of high latency and low fps from the same cause so try to get your facts straight.
I also do not understand how changing the priorities of processes can alter the situation.

If you have a USB setup, you sometimes need to turn off the power limiter in the Device Manager for the hub it is connected to. I remember having this problem, and thats what I was told to do by a steam rep.
Also, priority changing can alter the situation vastly. It basically means your PC is just focussing on running that program, and nothing else. If for example, you have lots of things running that you need, but you need one to run the best, you prioritise it, so it gets the most allocation of computer resources, but I doubt that would help in this case.. like why would you set it as low priority? That just making it worse.
