Holy fuck, trading is fun.

I started with like 9 (non-free) hats today, and now I have 14. I crafted 2 from just the metal I acquired (made about 4.5 refined from just bonus trades for hats), and got two 2:1 trades.
I got ripped off 'cause some guy traded me an orange merry-weather as gold along with the vita-saw and jarate, and I gave him 2 bad hats for it, but then found someone who wanted the orange for 2 hats (get owned, scammer).
Then, I traded for a Tosslecap, I put it up for trade on TF2Items, and I shit you not, 15 people added me to friends within 2 minutes looking for it. I started some massive auction and eventually gave it for a Fedora and Gatsby.

So I've been waiting for them to update so I can get my rimmed raincatcher. I was really hoping that because it took them so long, they were going to use a new model since it looks so similar to the tricorne. They didn't. And now I'm stuck with this stupid raincatcher that looks like crap, even though its brand new, it looks like a hat that should have come out in the first hat update.

Valve, I am disappoint.

You can get 2 items from L4D2 in TF2 for free if you already have L4D2 or you buy it before, a certain day/time, you get a frying pan, and a hat, so for free, can't really complain

Basically you can craft weapons together to make some Scrap Metal, when you get 3 of them, you combine them to make one reclaimed metal, then when you get 3 reclaimed metal you can make a refined metal, and when you get 3 refined metal you can combine them to get a hat, or, just check out this site, http://www.tf2items..../blueprints.php it shows/tells you the things you need to combine to get other things.

Got an Unusual Prussian Picklehaube from a crate. It had the shitty "Massed Flies" effect though. Traded it for 4 hats.

I just got my Ellis hat and Skillet. I swore I got them a week or so after it was announced.

I was originally going to craft some stuff with some of my old items, but I didn't want to lose a vintage item.
I kept em so I could trade. I'm actually looking for another ambassador, a FAN, and a mechanical hand for engie.
