Just wondering what other pro raiders are doing with wow as it is now?

imo raid content atm is poor at best and mainly aimed at 12 yr olds, i cancelled my account a few weeks ago after Steamrolling all lvl 80 content and not having much fun doing it. didn't want to pay Blizzard for what i see as slack work and dumbing down what was a great game just waiting for them to get round to patching in more content to steamroll.

what u guys think?

Also anyone know an MMO that has good chalanging content atm? since i quit wow i've been bored looking for something new to play and want to stick with the social aspect and constant progress of an MMO but not really interested in lvling/grinding/RP ect i just like raiding, pvp ect

Already tried AoC and Lotro and thought they were both rubbish, not tried Harhammer yet tho what friends have told me its more pvp focused than i like.

tbh what i really want is GTA Online!!! that would Own icon_biggrin.gif

After going up to black temple I decided raid content was just too boring and simple. I didn't end up buying the expansion. IMO If the pvp is imbalanced as fuck and the pve is not challenging... why keep playing?

Raid content is way too easy and this is coming from someone who started towards the last months of TBC.
Ulduar looks massive however, way bigger than BT not that will mean anything with the fights. Till that comes out, I would just leave my account as is in your position Shakes.

I'm a little scepticle about this tho it has been promiced almost all bosses will have a "hard mode" like Sarth + 3D and i bet some of them will hand u your arse in a bag at first.

My main grumble about "Ulduar will fix all" arguments is that its just one raid instance! Everyone i know is bored of Naxx to the lvl we were after 6 months farming MC... and its only 2 months old(new naxx anyway)! Personally i think id only enjoy running it on an alt or something now, same goes for all the rest of current content.

SO... lets say Ulduar is HellaFuckingAwesome and big and kicks my arse and i love it, i'd rather not run the easymode stuff anymore and i'm sure rest of my guild will think the same, so for probably 4-6 months i spend every raid day in the same instance? no chioce of path, no variation! and ofc u can;t raid all the time, Heroics will still be rubbish, pvp a mess, and server lag isn't going to get any better with all guilds in the same instance at the same time

I hope Blizz get it sorted as i miss playing my mage but tbh i'm pretty pessimistic right now.

I've pretty much gone on hiatus with WoW, not going to bother till Ulduar comes. Not really much i find fun in the game at the moment heh, if Ulduar is boring i just won't bother with it anymore.

Although it could just be me missing my old raiding team i had in TBC but heh nothing much i can do about that :<.

Sarth + 3D is only hard for downers who can't move out of things.

As for raiding, yeah I don't really care. If I wanted to play a super-competitive hardcore game, I'd go back to CS (which I still scrim regularly).

This really.

I love my new guild, and I love raiding with them. Sure it's easy, but it's also fun imo icon_smile.gif

It's rather simple. K0RRUPTED is the smartest 15-year-old in existence and is fucking with all of us.
Or he's Gillz's younger brother.

This is why blizzard has to A; Pump out content faster, or B; Ship the game with more content.

Also, lol at your sarth no drake kills. Stop doing the easy shit and try to do something the only challenging thing in this game.

Heroic Sarth no drakes, with 10 people!

actually that isn't all that hard, just takes a really long time. The big aoe cluster fuck is a little tricky at the end, it's come close to wipeing us once but hasn't yet (last time I died right after the offtank followed by Sarth).

Only not killed Sarth +3 as i quit wow before guild had it done(they have it done now), we only started trying it the week before my account was due to run out and i wasn;t going to pay Blizz a months sub for one boss encounter Achivement, we skipped Sarth +1 and +2.

Maybe if they'd bring back 40 mans I'll start playing again.

(Start all over that is, I gave my account away.)

I don't think raiding and all that is only fun for the epeen of killing the boss, I think there is a lot more. I'm going to buy fraps and record every raid I do, because if you think about it there is almost always a moment that is hilarious. Every raid I've done, something happens that you can't just re-tell. Also, I find a lot of fun in leveling other characters. There's tons of stuff to do, so do it! Seriously though... just think of all the 'MORE DOTS' moments in your raids... that's the reason I still play icon_razz.gif eh, that's my 2 cents. just my opinion

Actually I don't mind that much about the difficulty, what makes me mad is that you're able to obtain good gear without doing a full, 25 man raid, it kinda takes away the awesomeness of downing a boss.

Next expansion, 10 mans are heroic raid, 5 mans are raid, heroic dungeons are solo'd

Maybe they could make 10 mans the harder version with the better loot,or an equal version. I don't know, my personal preference is just to not deal with so many people; 10 mans are ideal for me.

Don't raid.

Sorry this is what bugs me. The casuals who whined until blizzard nerfed the shit out of the game. Oh 40 mans were too much of a pain in the ass for you so you didnt get great gear!? Sorry to hear that... thanks for ruining my fun btw.
