I have never actually played GW,
the only thing that ever appealed to me about it was it had no subscription fees..well as far as I know.
However, I do not see myself experimenting with it, I am too familiar with WoW, unless of course it is very similar.

Try not to simply blurt out an opinion.. You gotta justify these things..

It's rather simple. K0RRUPTED is the smartest 15-year-old in existence and is fucking with all of us.
Or he's Gillz's younger brother.

Actually, considering the copious amount of expansions in Guildwars. You might aswell play WoW for a year (with BC) and it'll be equal price.
Also, Guildwars isn't anywhere near as good as WoW. Especially when you make an Elementalist first Monk Secondary professions is the best healer. (atleast it was dunno if it changed).
That's pretty fuckin sad IMO as a game to be that broken.

I tried it once, didn't like anything about it except the price.

Actually the thing that pwns most about guild wars is that you can draw penises on the mini map for your party to see.

It's a good game but I wouldn't go as far as to say that it's better than most MMO's. The instance scenario for pretty much every area is a pain in the ass. But the PVP is ok I guess. Guild Wars 2 is gonna be excellent. I've been waiting for it for quite a while now.

What do you mean by the instance scenario?
And is the PvP different from WoW?

i actually prefer GW PvP to WoW and yes its very different. dont get me wrong, i dont play GW anymore, and i play WoW (WoW is a better MMO overall imo) but in terms of PvP, WoW is fucked. too much bursts. nevertheless the PvE aspects is what i love about WoW. besides, GW isnt really a MMO- NCsoft and Arena net has said that they created GW as a 'co-op' game rather than a fully fledged MMO. The only time you see the Mass Multiplayer aspect is in towns and cities. once you're out, the whole world is basically a huge instance. you cant see other players apart from your party, which was a huge disappointment for me. but again, PvP made up for it somewhat. WoW should actually copy GW's map imo, its freakin awesome. so much more strategy can be set up by simply drawing on the minimap.

I agree with the PvP deal, but definitely not about the map. GW does have some good PvP, yes, but the only thing I really don't like about the WoW pvp is the bursts and the unbalanced classes. Although, unbalanced classes will pretty much be in every MMO you will find I suppose. Blizzard really needs to fix the bursts though. One thing I always found interesting about GW was that you could make an instant high level character strictly for PvP which I think is cool. Sort of like the Arena Tourney characters, but for keeps

Yeah that's not even close to the best healing build. Nor was it ever really.
GW just has awesome PvP, period. It's balanced, and you have to depend on your build and your skill instead of gear...the PvE isn't much but whatever.

Agree to disagree.
You get the + Mana regen awesomeness of the Elementalist, and then you just spam the healing stuff from the monk. Then, shazam. Plenty of mana and decent heals. Never have to worry about regening during a long fight. :\
