Well there are so many things that i could put for england that ima narrow it down to my local town of bletchley. Home of the codebrekers during world war 2, eventually leading to a glorious victory for all non germans (yes i know historically you could add a fuckton more of more detail but meh), which incodently ties into:


My grandad (paternal) was the first man to return from a concentration camp alive, he was the front page of the newspaper and all sorts.

What came first, the spamming or the misery? People worry about kids playing with guns, or watching violent videos, that some sort of culture of violence will take them over. Nobody worries about kids reading thousands, literally thousands of posts about anime, 4chan, flaming, goatse and emos. Did I make terrible posts because I was miserable? Or was I miserable because I made terrible posts?
