I was hit by a bus about a month ago.

Like the big yellow kind.

He did over 5 thousand dollars worth of damage to the vehicle I was driving for work. The damage to the bus was white paint on it. :\



Edit; I almost lost my job because of said accident too.

just a question, afterwards did you find yourself thinking about life? just curious...
btw if you feel like bursting into flames or tears or whatever try listening to U2. works for me.

I'm glad Yael's okay, everyone's okay, and the cars weren't damaged too bad. (I assume that the scratches can be fixed with a little car paint, which isn't expensive.)

I'm glad you're okay, but I'm just going out and be a total dick and say I really can't see anyone crying for more than 10 minutes over a crash with the damage only few dents and scratches.

TRUST ME. I work in the automotive industry. I see alot of body shop jobs. They're EXPENSIVE.

how much would it cost to get a destroyed radiator an mounts fixed?
went with my family to fraser island, we went from the moon point track, and we slammed down on a large rock, completely destroyed the radiator, knocked it clean off its mounts and made a huge dent in the hood

my parents refused to tell me how much it cost, which makes me think a shitload

You'd have to get a new hood, paint it. fix or replace the Rad and mounts.

Hood can easily retail at 500-900 depending on the size of the hood. Then about another 200-400 to paint said hood.

Probobly replaced front bumper too, which is easily 1200 with painting.

The rad is kinda cheap, probobly 250, and the supports are mostly about 60 each. Assuming there isnt any other damage, it'd be about 12 hours labour total. The going rate is 60-90 dollars an hour for labour.

Lol, yeah. I'm glad I work for the people who got the parts for my car. a 600 dollar bumper only costs me 300. (The dealership buys it for like 280 from Honda...)
