So im curious about how people are playing, since you have so many choises of how you wanna be.
Ive chosen to be fairly kind, and helpful to people that need it. It got the sherif of Megaton killed though, and left his only son an orphan >_>
Anyway yeah, how are you playing, did anyone blow up Megaton, and if so, what happened?

Blow up Megaton for the lulz

And you get a sweet Penthouse in Tenpenny tower, bad karma, caps. Kill Allistar and Mr Burke afterwards for good karma and a sniper rifle and a silenced 10mm

^you go to tenpenny tower and watch the massive explosion, then theres a radiated area where it used to be.

Yeah, the black line means that the poster has put spoiler tags on that text, meaning if you dont want anything spoiled, you just don't highlight it. icon_razz.gif

and no, i don't think there is another way to get an apartment in tenpenny tower.

i shot the guy on the little crows nest thing outside megaton, and killed the sheriff and his buddies when they came out

megaton really isn't all that important

i regret blowing it up though.. i dont really have many places left to repair my gear and sell shit.. mostly cause i keep killing anyone i have repair my weapons just to get my caps back..

i do sortof wish i could live at paradise falls though.. if only because its one of the few places left with people :\

I didnt blow it up, but I might make a new character just to see it. I watched it on youtube, it was a pretty cool scene.

You can still blow it up on a good character, but you want to do every quest there first (the survival perk is a must). If you wait until about level 12 being a goodie two shoes the whole game, do every quest in megaton and then asplode it for win. My Karma stayed good and i got the sweet apartment. I then let the ghouls move in because rich people are assholes.

I got to a point were I had enough caps to get whatever, my stock never went under 10 000
