that video makes no sense to me. guy in a costume i've never seen, the vanilla sf4 announcer and some awesome stage music. do you play on PC aswell?



this is one I did recently, dudley vs chun-li is a horrible matchup so was quite proud of it even though I basically did exactly the same thing both rounds

lol that chun was mauled.

Ive changed:
New announcer to old
Some stages songs. This one was tekken 5's moonlight wilderness.
Intro screen to say "arcade edition" after saying SSF4.. just like the arcades
Arcade block sound. It sounds... thumpier. I like it.
That guy costume would be nice if his face wasnt fucked up and didn't have weird wires floating around.

Good god.

I have not hardcore played Tekken since T3 on the PS1. I put many, many hours into the game.

I then played T5 a few times at a mates place, and was amazed at the large roster. I also always played as my nuke.

Then comes tonight. Possinly for the first time in at least 3 years, I am confronted with an opponent in Tekken.

And after not playing for so many years, I still manage to wipe the floor with the entire service centre team.

King; you truly are an amazing character.

He is. For the 2~ months I played tekken 6 [lol] I played as king. Ofcoarse his grapples are really good but his not bad as a striker either. Screwdriver was really fun to pull off on people.. though it took a while in training to memorize all that shit.

amagaad, today was so sick. had some epic SF4 matches in my group vs gief and hawk. ended up losing them but they came right down to the last few pixels in the final rounds (there was even a double ko in there somewhere). grapplers are horrible matchups for dudley and I managed to do a couple sick comebacks in front of loads of people, got a few cheers

best part was coming 3rd in 3s though. came 2nd in my group (guy who came 1st was the eventual winner) and I thought I was out, then got told 2nd place went through aswell. got to the semis, played the eventual 3s winner again and lost after putting up a good fight. the 3rd place final was amazing though, I won and loads of people came up to me telling me i played really well. was in front of everyone else there too, videos are gonna be up this week and i'll post them here.

Wish I could semi easily get into playing with a group like that. I fight like 99% online, and because of that pick up bad habits.. Guess I'll be awaiting teh vidz.

I got quite lucky, the place that I moved to for uni is only about a 40 min train ride from 3 places that host regular tournaments and sessions. Learning online isn't really a bad thing, I've only been to 5 events ever and the first one was in february. I only enter SF4 because I know how to play it, and I put time in on it - all online. I don't do that badly at tournaments considering I rarely play anymore. After the first one I went to I focused my efforts on 3s. I only play online unless I go to an event. Online provides a good platform for learning, lag sucks and online tactics are ghey but you just gotta condition yourself not to play like that. But yes, going to offline events is friggin' awesome
