This looks like a promising title, more focused on the parkour/freerunning than the combat. The graphics look pretty clean as well.

I don't know if this is technically classified as an FPS since it's possible (and encouraged) to play through the game without shooting a gun at all.
I'm also fairly sure there's threads on this game already, but I'm not gunna bother searching.
I'm not personally sure how it's going to be, but I'll reserve judgment until playing it. I play FPSes all the time and I still got a little motion sick from watching the view shake and roll around in Mirror's Edge videos. It gets really disorienting. With any luck though, the free-running mechanics will be deep enough to make the game enjoyable.

I would classify it First Person, Maybe better in general gaming.
On another note:

Nah, I think it's SP only.. and since the game's in first person view? yeah, it's a first person action game.. definitely one of the more 100% accurate first person view games. Not many fps'es go so far out of its way to match up what happens in fps view and what actually happens with the player's character model... lots of work must have been put into the game's coding and animation to make them look so darn fluid.
I think that DICE are gaming geniuses, and that Mirror's Edge is a fantastic idea for them for a new intellectual property. It probably won't get the same fame as their Battlefield series, but I bet it'll be more stable coding-wise since there won't be any worry about them fucking up the multiplayer netcode... oh zing.

If the game actually looks like it does in the trailers, I can honestly call it the most awesome looking game this year.
Doubt the gameplay will be really fun though, I think the whole run and gun while doing backflips up walls is gonna get boring in 30 minutes.

Hard difficulty+don't use weapons=challenge to keep me playing for awhile.
If you use the little path-assistant thing... yeah, sure, I imagine it'll get dull.

I'm pretty stoked for this one. From I've seen it's basicly a parkour game with hand to hand fighting and guns! ( that > win )

It's really not, but it isn't too far off for a game.
I wish the demo was longer, though it's fun just the same. It'll be one of those games that'll
actually take a bit of effort to really get good at. The demo was fun, and now I'm waiting for
the release to pick it up.
