what i meant was to just find a new game where theres not as many hackers or a game that has better servers for less lag? cuz the games i play are fun to me. its just laggers/hackers ruin it for me. i mean the whole point of playing a game is to have fun right?

When they're doing so, I wouldn't just movie to another game if i really liked the game I was currently playing
I would do something about it, but i don't know exactly what, and it also depends on what game

But of course the point of playing is to have fun and create a bigger network

The Collider computer was hacked into by a group that did no harm to the machine.

They left messages basically saying that the security on the "Doomsday Machine' was
done by school children. (inferior)

Those in charge say that the people who hacked it seemed to just want to make a message
that the security wasn't good.

So - DID THEY LISTEN? It was hackedl. DID THEY LISTEN and do they now understand
if security isn't good, then the whole thing could be turned into a major weapon?

I hope 'they' (those that run that Collider) are listening.

Screw you, man. It's not our fault we have dial up, it's because we CAN'T get anything else, so we have 2 options, dial up, or shitty satellite.

true, but in your screen you'll be seeing them infront of you. but to the servers theyre really behind you and when the connection kinda "meets" or however you wanna call it (when the lag lessens) they kill you before you can react to the fact that they have teleported behind you.

yeah well at LEAST dsl is better than dial up. i mean i remember when i was 7 and using dial up. i couldnt even play neopets. btw i was on netzero at the time. dsl isnt really THAT much more expensive than dial up anyways.

well like people on this post have said im either just gonna avoid laggers as much as i can. for certain games i can make a switch and not rly care about it. i started play fps on soldier front, then the game play wasnt as good as other games (for god sake you dont die when you shoot someone in the head), and plus you can easily tap kill people in that game. so i moved on to combat arms, however my graphics suck so it takes me 5mins to load the damn game so by the time im in the game is like a quarter way through. so as far as fps goes, im probably gonna go out and buy me some CS. Unfortunately, i cant switch on Rumble fighters. its probably the only game that has that kind of unique gameplay. but i would have to agree with you on that one.

I'm not exactly sure if I misinterpreted you, but..

I don't you can migrate to a better or different game just because of the hacker/laggers in a game. You're always going to experience one of these problems in every game. There's always going to be a really bad lagger, or a blunt hacker. You can't really avoid it by switching games..

I live in the ghetto, bunch of poor people who have no interest in intarnet, which equals to no demand, which equals to company's not wanting to put in new lines just for us, since that makes them lose money.

then play games with lower quality graphics? that dont screw with your gaming or other ppls gaming? doesnt it get boring to just play and lag all the time? cuz i remember using dial up and it was not fun.

i used to play fps on aol dial up - wasn't fun at all but at least i got a good score. i didn't know how i got so good with such a shitty connection. people who lag don't know that they're teleporting around like that

Actually had someone in a dust2 pub the other day doing that. Was epic, because someone got really fed up with him and decided to disconnect then reconnect with hacks only to kill him. And he did. Then we all votebanned him.

As for hackers/laggers, you're always going to have to deal with them, just try to avoid them as much as possible.

I've always figured hackers only get enjoyment out of pissing people off, thats the only reason I'd do it anyway. So I just keep my cool and leave the server or I stay until they leave.

Mmm, half the time it's not even to componsate for skill. People just wana get a rise out of you untill you leave or they get bored.
