Not much has happend since the 'good old days'... Peruse around the forums, and you'll find a few threads in regards to this, and what's happend/ isn't happening.

Basically the last episode may be a long time coming.

I was expecting this to be a terrible end for the series, but for a cutoff point where you will no longer get updates, this isn't bad. It does unfortunately leave on a cliffhanger with the Kris character, but rather than another major plot revelation with Dave and Doug, we got to see the crew happy and having fun for the last time. If the show was on-going, that would have felt like a copout. But in this scenario, it feels right.
