Gawking tourists not welcome in the Castro
that would be the castro district, san francisco's gay hangout

best quotes:
"God knows we love tourists," said Patrick Batt, who has owned the Auto Erotica vintage gay porn shop for 28 years. "But these people are a bunch of gawkers."

"Many of them seem uncomfortable or shocked by their surroundings," Guite said. "You've got these throngs of people walking up and down Market and 18th, holding hands to make it clear that they are heterosexual."

i wear pants while walking down castro street because i'm sending out a message that i don't wanna be buttraped.

Heh, that's kind of funny. But tbh, in Toronto, the gay area is marked with rainbow flags on tourist maps icon_razz.gif

This is exactly what has been going on through the entire thread, and it's not the first time either.
You come to us for advice..you just spell out what you want to get, and then ask us if it is okay, and we have to explain why it isn't. That's the world upside down.. If you would just say 'hey guys, I have an X amount of money, what should I buy?' Then this would be over in 2-3 posts, not 2-3 pages.

lol. the gays in sf are making this bigger than it really should. they've gone this far in their liberation movement. but i hope they don't devolve into jesse jackson-esque phony baloney. they should know that they're the ones who put up the giant posters of nude muscle men on their store windows and the rainbow flags on street posts.

btw if only i were a tour bus driver...

look! CHINESE PEOPLE! look! MEXICAN PEOPLE! look! GAYS! no actually look away! cover your eyes!

It's been like this for awhile now; double-standards between the gay community and, well, everyone else.

For example: in my old high school there was this gay kid whom I'd never really talked to, didn't know, and
only knew he was gay by the fact that he liked to discuss, quite loudly, how much he loved sucking on a nut
sack (Also; glitter and flamboyant clothes were a bit of a giveaway). One day I'd brought my baby brother
whom I've raised myself most of his life to school with me because he'd wanted to go see what I did all day,
something the faculty had OKed and a lot of my female friends were looking forward to. Long story short,
at lunch this kid proceeded to talk in an extremely loud voice about how much fun swallowing cum was with
my 3 year old brother sitting on my knee not ten feet away, so I asked him neutrally if he'd quiet his voice
down around the kid. The response: "How about you fuck off you fucking breeder!"

So, I snorted a bit and let out a "Whatever fag." as I picked my brother up and started to walk out. I got to
my class to see two of the police assigned to the school and the dean of students waiting for me, and was told
that I was being put on charges of sexual harassment and hate crimes for calling him a fag.

So, I informed him as to what he said before hand, and named off witnesses to the event.

I was told it didn't matter, it isn't a hate crime to be called a breeder for being straight, but calling a gay guy
a fag is a serious offense.

Anyways, it's not surprising that it's being held against straight couples for holding hands in public, but if
you tried to do something like that to a gay couple, oh dear god... hell would break loose.

A rainbow-colored hell maybe, but hell none the less.

I wouldn't complain about gays, Its not really their fault, but the fact they have such a attitude and think they are amazing and special just because they are homosexual pisses me off. They have to have gay pride and go around all happy and shiny. At least they hate god botherers I guess.

Why do gays get areas? What about the Asexuals? Do they get rapture?
