i currently play runescape QUITE a bit. met some really cool people and what not witch is what makes the game fun . pking or 'player killing' is where you get most of the fun out of the game.

Yeh, I made 10M out of Pking. Sold it on ebay for £100

Sold my lvl 94 account for £250.

So making quite a bit of money from it, who cares if it sucks?

Runescape is either for people with no money, people with the worst computers in their town, people who have an urge to be bored (not to be comfused with emo which is having an urge to be sad lol)

I've said I dont play RS anymore... but honestly I wanna rectify some points... one, believe it or not if you have an average pc you'll get killer lag on RS cause of all the hardcore 1337 newbs (woot?) so you'd have to run it on low quality (that's right! It get's lower!!) but actually if you had to tell the difference it's a few pixels here and there... and no sound (but the fact is that midi tune is so annoying that you turn it off anyways to try and save the vital shreds of sanity). Secondly when you start on RS you wont get bored if you make a few pals, I have a few that I'm still mates with long after I stopped playing (now that is hardcore). Next point is WoW isnt alot bigger... try walking to the furthest points on both games (yes that means members on RS) and see which you get to first... only then can you appreaciate the size of RS (plus wildy is a pretty big chunk of the map).

Next is members REALLY arnt the newbs who ever said that... trust me... compare the 'fr33 sto0f pl0x0rz' from f2p to the 'paying 25mil for D Chain' on p2p and you'll get it. Besides 3.20 isnt exactly a massive burden for one month so I dont know what your complaining about, it's cheap and got better kicks then WoW I'm afraid... if you after graphics get Guild Wars and save some money for gods sakes... I dunno that's how I see it.

I will be the first to admit RS is tedious... and there is no denying that, but if you have the time to invest (or you wanna make a KILLING on e-bay for no effort) then it's kewl.

Next... no PvP... are you stupid? Capture the Flag... last man standing... death match and player killing are spread out through the vast world (or just PKing if your F2P)

There are no classes in Runescape. You slap on Robes, you are a mage, you slap on armour, you are a melee, you slap on hides, you are a ranger. That's why there's so much hybriding going on in that game.

I'm still asking myself, day after day, why I wasted 5 years of my life on that game getting to level 121 and 99 skills. I don't think I will ever forget what an idiot I was :oops:

Go figure...you play WoW and no way in F-ing hell did you get to lvl 121 and 99 skills....Your the equivalant of about rank 5-15 on the server and the game hasn't even been around 5 years! When you say lvl 121 did oyu mean overall total and 99 experience in each? I do.

If you really were as good as you make it out to be you'd know there is alot more to RS pking than slapping on certain items. The wilderness is an immense area with plenty of advantages and disadvantages. In p2p pking, blakc dragonhide is used for melee fighting aswell. There are surprisingly a lot of tactics in RS wildy. Anywho...

Your all far to judgmental...after playing WoW you'll naturally think RS is crap. Unfortunately I have no money except for that precious £3.20 a month pretty much so i'd rather have that 3.20 a month with some cash to go out with some mates than spend liek a tenenr a month and never go out.

RS is shit...yes I said it. But it has good company. The quests are also rather fun and something to look forward to after a detestable day at school. Well I'm getting good at it, so it seems pretty good to me. It's good for when you're bored. Considering how this pc is fucked and can't play much games till it's fixed, I just play RS. It's pretty cool since you don't have to download it.

ok this game, was my first mmo when i was a little newbling,i got to like lvl 80 somthing and like 70 fishing then i got swg, then planetside and now eq2 is my main game

ok runescape is dominated my newbs (new to mmos) and noobs who just dont have a clue, the graphics are usless combat is boring if u can do it afk it is totally rubbish
