SO clicking my way thru the internet news today i came across an interesting article :
http://www.reuters.c...=...&src=vidAd1
Short and to the point, Blizzard and Activision plan to merge in December. This is surprise news to me! As a big fan of both WoW and Guitar Hero, i have to question if this is a good idea or not... I'm not sure weather this situation calls for a D-: or a :-D
I personally think this is an awkward combo (PC MMO/RTS + Console GH/DDR? wtf?) and i'm a curious about how it will affect the wow community. Any thoughts about this?

It STARTED in December of 2007. It ended earlier this month, meaning they are officially Activision Blizzard now. However, it is really Activision and Vivendi not Activision and Blizzard.
And like that, he was gone.

old news is old, but I don't see a problem. Blizzard busts there ass to make quality and Activision has huge pockets, so maybe Blizz will finally be able to crate Starcraft Ghost? lol!
Meh i've been outta the blizzard loop until recently (WoW hooked me ... again >< ) so old news is new news to me. Hopefully i'm just being a worry wart about this. Bliz has always been one of my fav's, and i'd hate to see them cheapened
Though, maybe with more money, they'll drop the damn monthy fee for wow... *crosses fingers*

I dobut they'll ever relieve the sub fee from WoW. As long as they're making money,i dont think they care how much they have. Humans get greedy.
But anyhow, isnt it mostly just Vivendi?

As WoW gets older they will drop the prices for the monthly fee, almost all mmo's do. Usually by 2-5 a month.
