I sometimes post from my iPhone when I'm on a train or something. Mainly desktop, though.

We shall go on to the end, we shall post in France,
we shall post on the seas and oceans,
we shall post with growing confidence and growing strength in the internetz, we shall defend our forum, whatever the cost may be,
we shall post on the beaches,
we shall post on the landing grounds,
we shall post in the fields and in the streets,
we shall post in the hills;
we shall never surrender!
Uh, I just use my desktop whereever. If I find free wifi I can use my PDA though. But it's just not meant for forums

This is exactly what has been going on through the entire thread, and it's not the first time either.
You come to us for advice..you just spell out what you want to get, and then ask us if it is okay, and we have to explain why it isn't. That's the world upside down.. If you would just say 'hey guys, I have an X amount of money, what should I buy?' Then this would be over in 2-3 posts, not 2-3 pages.

Every time someone goes against Weiman's sig I feel like they should be bludgeoned for a few minutes in the head to feel the headache I feel when I realize someone really IS that dense.

Its addictive, you'll soon find yourself sleeping with your laptop and just posting from the confines of your pillow fortress.

That just sounds so awesome.
I'll be posting on the throne, the train, on my bike on the way to college, at college, on the way back from college and even in the shower.
I just wish I had enough money to actually afford one.

I post from my phone from time to time. You know, those ones that flip open vertically and horizontally (to use the keypad)

I use my Desktop at home or my laptop at work. I use my PDA sometimes, but forums and PDA dont really get along too well.

Desktop because it has a real keyboard.
Yes, as opposed to this fake keyboard Im using...
I know what you mean though, its a lot nicer to have a full sized keyboard to type with.

I have an Asus Eee and use that on-the-go quite a lot. I recommend them highly for anyone looking for a cheap laptop for web/email/IM. The amount of unsecured wireless networks you can pick up on just driving down a busy street is astonishing.
