At the start (up untill his 8th scv) of this vid when nada is separating his scvs ect he seems to be doing a hell of a lot of mineral selecting and scv selecting... I am a noob and I cant really figure out why. I mean, I know to get the best results you make sure each scv has his own lil mineral patch but what is nada doing there? Is there an advantage to what hes doing or is he just showing off?

Every pro gamer does that. It warms them up so that when the game starts to heat up they are already used to high apm and can keep up.
Similar to athletes stretching, swinging a bat, going for a quick jog, or whatever the devil you active kids do before a game.

To win rts, be prepared to lose...a lot.

Nah, it's just something to do while your bored. I can't see any positive effect from it, yet I do it, because the game start is always the same.

Yes, but you are not a pro gamer like Nada, Flash, Jeremy, or any of the other greats.

I do it for warmup and so do pros. It may not be something like 'I get 400 apm now so when I need it I can keep up' but sort of like, stretching your fingers and making them ready for the later game
