Radiohead is having a remix contest and being a huge fan of Radiohead / Nigel Godrich I absolutely had to get in on this.

OK Computer is probably my all time favorite album, it's just slightly more awesome that each of the other totally awesome Radiohead albums. I took the song "Nude" from their latest album and remixed it as I would have expected to hear it back in 1997 on the OK Computer album. The tune is reharmonized, only the vocals and drums are the original tracks. I would have liked to put some guitar tracks in there but I'm lacking in both guitar skills and gear. It still sounds fairly OK Computerish.

EDIT: Alright, now that I took the time to listen to it, I loved it. Great piano that works well with it and it is very OK Computer (which is one of my most favorite of albums as well). Yeah it definitely goes well with the theme and I could definitely see where you were going.

I see what you mean by it having a bit of an "OK Computer" sensibility to it. That was actually the first Radiohead album I ever heard and purchased and Thom Yorke, to this day, continues to produce wonderful work.

It's awesome how varied these remixes are, was listening to them a while back, and people are, I guess obviously enough, going for their own unique interpretations of the song I guess.

A pretty brave angle to take, re-harmonising the whole thing, but you've pulled it off really well

I kinda lost interest in Radiohead after OK Computer, but this sounds almost like it belongs on that album. Voted.

It's very nicely done. I'm not a huge fan myself but i do have some of their tracks in my playlist.

I also love the fact that Radiohead are some of the ones that are doing something about the digitalization you spoke off in your previous post. If I remember correctly they were the ones that released In Rainbows for the price of "Whatever you Want to Pay"!

Kid A and OK computer are probablies my fave RHead albums,
Nude and karma Police are my favourite songs by them for sure,
you got my vote man! That was a pretty sweet atmospheric cover, I like it!

I've just realised the irony - the band started performing this song in 1997, it just took 10 years to get itself on to an album

Wondering now if that's actually the reason for the choice of date or an unintentional coincidence

I'm not a huge fan of Radiohead, but I remember few songs from this video and I like them. Remix is good, voted.
