i don't watch it much anymore because all the diving is pathetic.
my fav english team would be liverpool since thats who my dad supports. i used to like arsenal when henry used to play for them. but my fav soccer team is bayern munich.

This. Fealiks knows what he's talking about here, unlike the rest of the people in this thread. I'll probably slap a lock on this and sticky it so that people can make a good example of his intelligence.

i still say charlton!
haha, if we did have any chinese forum goers i know we would have some other charlton supporters cos we have their version of david beckham in zheng zhi, i.e those who know shit about football in china support charlton.
I support them cos my dad's family come from charlton, which is in london btw.
Must win game tomorrow! Also i believe the championship is far more competative than the premier league. The latter is full of foreign divers *cough* c ronaldo *cough* and put to shame the greats that risked their health at times to play football in the most famous league in the world. But the championship is so much more competative, any team can get promoted it seems as everyone is going for the win all the time. One example is colchester, they just missed out on going up to the premier league last season and this season they look like they are going down.
The only bad thing about the championship is the extreme contrast in finances from the premier league. A side in the premier league get £30 million a season for tv rights alone while the championship sides get a fraction of that overall.
so in conclusion Championship >>>> Premiership

Should try watching Scottish Premiership matches. Even the top teams are very prone to looking like sunday league football teams.

You know what's more fun and potentially a lot less violent than football? Ping Pong. Why can't we all just watch Ping Pong and get along?

Interestingly my favorite thing about futbol is the fighting, violence, incredibly strong support, and the fact that the entire world can and does get in on it.

I find soccer such a boring sport... on par with cycling, swimming and cricket.
Union, league and aussie rules on the other hand... Ive never seen much american football since i dont have cable, but i heard its really stop-startish. at least soccer flows.

Cricket?
Lol, no way!
Football is like... Alive!
When I go to games I feel more alive than usually.
It's just that screaming and cussing makes so much more sense when EVERYONE is doing that ;P

been a fan* of Bayern München and the german national team for some 10 years now.
people hated me for liking the germans over my own country (slovenia) even when my own country was at the world cup but I stayed true to them ^^
*fan as in watching the more important games and just looking up scores for the other ones, watching football from home on tv is kinda meh

OK guys, it's generally OK to voice your opinion in a thread, but cmon. Enough is enough.
If you guys don't like Football, thats fine. You don't have to post in this thread. But you do, you know why? Cause you guys are cockheads. (not for disliking football, for trolling)
